Not dome with slider it’s modded to have a solid bottom out and don’t associate me with that “mx blue raspberry pie loving - thinking a different switch colour is a whole new innovation” crowd
The lubing is inconsistant I'll give you that, really needs redoing, but every key has a solid bottom out, so no mushiness in feel at least. I could make it clackier if I wanted, but I don't want it too loud. also if every key sounded the same it'd be boring, like that dell keyboard I modded.
It's a belkin kb-6868 all over ebay but it has some mods done to it that add a solid bottom out like a mechanical, the tutorials are on my channel there's several different methods.
It’s hard to beat the tactility of good rubber domes, even something like boba u4 aren’t as tactile in my opinion but they are a better switch overall, much smoother less rattly and actuate halfway, I think innovations such as box royals (where they made the contact leaf stiffer), mute jades and zeal clickiez in tactile mode etc. Are where tactile switches need to head, so basically a seperate tactile element. as there’s a limitation on how tactile you can make mx style switches without them being scratchy as hell. It’s worth checking out orange or cream alps.
when a old membrane keyboard is better then most new membrane keyboards 😂
that’s nothing new, the Model M is probably the most known membrane keyboard and it RIPS through any modern clicky switch.
holyyyy this sounds so good
Thanks, you can do this to any membrane if you watch some of my videos
