Would you say that Butyrate, along with gut healing ( fermented foods, pre biotics, probiotics) can heal the gut/ immune system enough to reverse food allergies?
Sure. It is a butyric acid supplement. It turns out that taking butyric acid orally is a less effective way to raise one's butyrate than by encouraging one's own gut flora to make by providing resistant starch.
All those " resistance starches" still spike your sugar. I tried all of them and still elevated my glucose levels way too much. I try to eat foods that don't do that. I don't want to be releasing tons of insulin and become insulin resistant 😮
I attempt to get 30 grams of fiber per day! Beans, oats, seeds, nuts, greens, fruits, cruciferous vegetables. Not saying I have perfect health but consider this long term.
I want to order your RS Complete but I’m only able to eat lettuce and cucumbers due to food intolerances. I have reactions to potatoes. I’m afraid to try it even though it sounds exactly what I need. Would I be putting the cart before the horse?

So Dr. Alan can you tell me what is Tri- Butyrin ? Thank you!

I bought the one without magnesium stearate which irritates the lining of the stomach.
@@Followthechariot my friend Chris wrote a good article of debunking this concern: chriskresser.com/harmful-or-harmless-magnesium-stearate/
@@DrChristianson Thank you! I'll check it out!
8gramms of butyrate/ day? OMG
Does this increase your cholesterol
No, RS does not increase cholesterol.

RS has been studied and found to lower most users' insulin output and blood sugar levels. They are not carbohydrates.

that's an excellent target!

Some do well by taking small amounts (even ⅛ tsp) at first and gradually working up. Lettuce and cucumber are not enough!
30 bananas a day
banana and dates smoothies
Steamed potato’s and veggies
GF/GF & goat butter has loads of butyrate.
did you hear this from the video? "To get 8000 mg of butyrate, you’d need to eat 1/2 pound (2 sticks) of butter each day."
