This era is so iconic, the lyricism and the lore is sooo good!😍 What I have analyzed so far based on lyrics is that this new person controls them and they're trying to protect her or the connection has been broken and to be able to protect her a bite is needed again...? Which essentially is everything we know😅 Definitely is a parallel universe, maybe the eclipse creates the connection or something. Niki's choreo is the pre chorus low voice part of the song "Come here and get some... come over and bite me" He did the whole thing in his hotel room while on tour in Phillipines. Also Heeseung helped direct the mv and Sunoo on writing of Bite Me. I'm so proud of them! 🥹❤️ 18:17 that's Sunoo 😂 I love your videos so much! ❤

I feel like there's so much going on with the concept photos, like all those underwater shots, coffin and the black crown sunoo wore. There's also a very interesting VCR in the showcase. I hope you upload a full explanation to this era, love your vids! ❤
Ok so here's my theory for this era... first of all I believe the concept trailer, concept photos and the lyrics for each song on this album is specific to dark BLOOD and dark blood only, however, the bite me MV is for both dark blood AND dark moon.
So... firstly, the concept photos show dark blood EN-'s progression through their version of the events in dark moon starting with FULL taking place on the night Selen dies before they do their time jump and loose their memories, HALF showing them in the river of Lethe (the river of oblivion from Greek mythology in the underworld that you drink from to erase your memories in preparation from reincarnation) after escaping from the orphanage (in this timeline there was a flood rather than a fire) and NEW showing them in the present.
Next comes FATE, this directly tells us their story that they received great power form Selen via being bitten by her for the purpose of protecting her but once they did the time jump they were cursed by oblivion and forgot their destiny, finally they remember again after reconnecting with Sooha in the present they ask to be bitten in order to return her powers to her and complete the cycle. Bite Me (lyrics only) is basically just about their willingness to fulfil said destiny and be loyal knights. Then in Sacrifice (Eat Me Up) they are bitten and sacrifice themselves (there is also another reference to the river of Lethe here). This is where the concept trailer fits and shows us they they do eventually get bitten and they die as a result. Next is Chaconne, which the boys themselves define as a 'dance song from the 17-18th century to resurrect the dead'. It sounds like they re-enter oblivion, they think their job is done and they party in hell essentially. But then in Bills they realise that there is still more to do and that they can't bear being separate from Sooha and request to turn back time. Finally in Karma, they restart the cycle/reincarnate but they resolve to not forget about Sooha this time or succumb to arrogance and powerlust like before as Sooha and the knights are forever inextricably linked by fate and blood.
Putting this in the context of dark MOON plus with the MV it sounds like dark blood EN- complete their story but then go to limbo (the castle in the MV) and begin to watch over (or even self insert themselves into) other timelines to ensure that the proper course of events are followed and that other versions of themselves don't make the same mistakes they did. Plus in the showcase they ended with 'into the iland' showing that this cycle has ended and its time to go back to the start and try again (the boys even said the reason they performed it was to show them going back to the start).
I'm very excited to see where the story goes next and if we get more multiversal interactions because they said that this is the first release in the dark blood SERIES.
I noticed that in the first eclipse the direction is from left to right and white (dark moon: the blood altur) and in the one for the current MV it is red and moving from right to left. Color and direction of things always seems to mean something so the red as in blood moon is moving backwards in the MV also the setting for the MV moved from a the shape of the castle as a whole building to the castle as it is today a hundreds of years ruin. They seem to be playing with time pointing to the idea that at the start of the Blood era time is fluid because they have been vampires for centuries. They have seen the curse of immortality. They have chosen to accept their fate to move on.
In many ways in this story they are all living the same fate and must all except what is happening
The use of red and blue makes me think of the use of red and blue to show the flow of blood through the heart. It may have nothing to do with this though. Can’t wait for new story line and your explanations

I know there's the wormhole thing but i personally see all of this as them being reincarnated multiple times, specifically with the coffin jn the beginning of the mv
- I think that after they were sent to the future in the WEBTOON novel ,they were reincarnated so many times like Sooha (The reincarnated princess), but in different eras (dimensions) before her existence till they were born as vampires and Marge found them in the 19th century.
- According to the concept trailer and Bite Me MV, Sooha will choose Sunghoon (Solon) in the end instead of Heeseung (Heli) and she will bite them to efface the vampirism curse to gain the princess's shamanic powers, eternity and vampirism and make them fade away to be reincarnated in a future era and in the DARK BLOOD Bite Me MV, the moving chandelier (The Princess/Sooha) will stop at Sunghoon (Solon) in the end.
13:15 with regards to which dimension/reality this MV takes place in, I think it takes place between both dark blood and dark moon in a limbo of sorts (the sets all have lots of doors/archways throughout them like they are in a liminal space between worlds and each door is a passage to a new reality, plus the eclipse symbolises dimensions connecting). However, story wise, I think this is primarily dark moon as they are asking to be bitten whereas the dark blood version of EN- have already been bitten, and the castle this takes place in is a reference to Hivernal as in the wattpad (and maybe the webtoon too but those chapters aren't free yet) Hivernal used to be Selen's castle but now in the present when Dardan resides there it is mostly ruins. BUT dark blood is definitely present and they are in the coffins at the start after dying in the concept trailer and come to limbo (the castle) to either be reincarnated and put into a new dimension or to watch over the other dimension's versions of EN- (like our dark moon) to ensure they follow their line (fate/destiny), don't forget their duty to sooha and end up being bitten themselves.

Idk if anyone has already pointed this out but at 22:36 it looks like the chess board transitions in to the platform that they are performing on which reminds me of the simulation idea that you brought up. Maybe they’re the pieces of a chess board being moved as knights or pawns 👀 but earlier in the M/V some of the members ( Jungwon & Sunghoon I believe) are “playing” with the chess pieces so maybe they have some control over what happens. It’s always Jungwon, Sunoo, and Sunghoon who seem to have the most significance in their comebacks(storylines), of course all the members have their moments but it’s more consistent with their characters.
The "virtual reality" place you talked about (the place where they dance the chorus) kinda reminds me of the blood altar from the webtoon. The walls look similar besides that there are no bars to keep marge (and the werewolves???) inside. maybe its just a coincidence..? idk but I just wanted to point it out :l
2:47 in here everyone was lying down at the same position but Sunoo was lying down at the side different from the others and 3:03 here everyone was like on the floor except for sunoo he was standing at the back of them I was really suspicious about this
At 6:49 when you mention that it's like they're in a hologram/fake reality, I remember Sunghoon and another member saying three different times in the special showcase (and behind video) that this music video (in particular this shot) remind them of a 'game'. At first I didn't think much of of it but them saying it three times and it being multiple members makes me think that it's a hint. Also 22:34 there is a shot where the chess board turns into the floor they are dancing on which again makes me think they are the subjects to some manipulation like game characters. Except now we know who is playing the game... another version of EN-
Once I realised that the multiverse is finally coming into play some moments in their previous MVs started to make more sense. For example in Let Me In there are two versions of EN-, one that drinks the blue thing and gets stuck in the museum exhibit (our dark moon EN- that we have been following so far), and one ver observing the exhibits and sticking gummy bears around (dark blood EN- watching them from a higher reality). Also there is potentially both of these versions present in T-D JP with dark blood EN- being the ones playing the game resulting in dark moon's orphanage being burnt down and that scene with Jake and the carousel horses, the Jake running around the outside would be dark blood and the Jake as the horse would be dark moon.
edit: I watched the rest of the video and you end up picking up on most of the same details I just mentioned haha
I think it shows from their past and their previous life where they first became vampires
the blood moon in relation to vampires is believed to have been created by vampires themselves. it also means a war or conflict is arising. these myths came from romanian folklore, and knowing that, it seems to align with the ruins. so perhaps this is a flashback to the start of them (them being vampires) and how they were created. hence the come kiss me and bite me, because vampires are believed to have the power of being very attractive and use compulsory on their victims to lure them in.
also with this in mind, it fits with the dark moon story line, and this is just the technical beginning of it, as well as with the choreography, it shows them (vampires) having women bare themselves to them in a very synchronized (compulsory-ish) way. also it fits the semicolon where this is the first half, and dark moon is the second half!
the lyrics reminds me of the webtoon , like they wanted to protect sooha and get her back from darden but when they were trapped with the vamps sisters she saved them !!!!!!
21:52 they are the knights that will protect her by giving Sooha back her powers so that she in turn is powerful enough to save them all from Dardan
Kind of funny that they say "connect me again" after they cut the connection implied via song titles (given-taken, tamed-dashed, drunk-dazed) and wanting to break free in previous title tracks. Or maybe those two things are completely ... unconnected. Anyway, great video as always!!!
I wonder if Given-Taken and Let Me In do actually fit into this alt storyline because those music videos have never been labeled (in the description) as being a part of Dark Moon. Which I’ve always found odd, especially considering that Given-Taken is set back when they were living at the orphanage-a very important piece of the Dark Moon series. But Given-Taken also showed us Jungwon disintegrating into the air identically to how Sunghoon d!es in the Dark Blood concept teaser, so given that and the other similarities, I think it is very possible that those two music videos are connected to this new universe.
Hi! As I shared in the short related to this, the boys probably try to recreate the memories they have (think of the scene where they dance in that castle with a grid floor) as an attempt to remember who they are and the important person they're trying to find.
Also side note and a suggestion for the next video, Midnatt's latest short film/MV has a cat with different eye colors and I think you might like to dissect the video a bit more. Cheers and stay healthy!
