While I do think it's an alternate dimension, I don't think it's one we're necessarily going to. I think it's one they may have already been to. Or I guess you could say one that's already happened as it feels like the story of Dark Blood begins and ends in the trailer. They also say that they'll wait for her. Tbh though there's so much I feel like you could get from this trailer so it could be anything 😅
the boys have clarified more than once that Sooha does not appear in this comeback
and therefore the girl is not sooha and the story is probably not located in the dark moon universe

in the minute 4:04 all the members (except sunghoon obviously) did something like a rock paper scissors or a game like that to see who was going to face sunghoon first, they said it in their reaction to the concept trailer, and since jungwon was the one who stayed with His hand was higher, what happened was that the others did something like putting his soul into Jungwon's body, so when Jungwon died in the same position as and where his body remained, Niki appeared and when Sunghoon killed Niki, Jay appeared in his place and then sunoo and jake took his soul out of jay's body that's why they came out like from his back
i believe the scene where the 6 boys play the game and then lay on each other is them choosing who's gonna fight sunghoon first and then fusioning (so that another member can appear when the previous one dies). and the upside down member would be heeseung, controlling the whole fusion thing from afar (?)

@@fantasmaghoulical yup it is his power but he appeared behind jay with jake so i doubt it’s him, i feel like if he was in 2 different places/he was traveling or appearing at 2 different places it would have been made more obvious, but it’s definitely a possibility. also, if the upside down guy is sunoo, then where was heeseung and what was he doing? this is why i feel like it makes more sense if the upside down guy is heeseung

Given taken and let me in were different from each other and that's because it's in defferent dimensions , if you remember in let me in mv sunghoon was saying something in the first Scene , now if you focus on his lips you can see that he's probably saying "bite me!" He was also covered by Blue translucent cover and that's appeared in "half" version today , that's why i think this dimension and let me in dimension are the actually the same ! Also about that girl she's not sooha for sure, if she's sooha then heeseung will love her again even if he doesn't remember her in the past , because they have that links with each other, but instead sunghoon does love this girl ! Wich mean she's "the new character" Sunghoon was talking about
Heeseung said also that there's no sooha in this album, other members Said that this album is so deffrent then the webtoon dark moon , mybe that's why it's dark blood ? That's my opinion ~

The Pineapples are reference to the movie Chungking Express by Wong War kai. He has an iconic style is incredibly respected for his films. This entire concept film I would argue reflects his multiple styles he's displayed across his works. Especially In the Mood for Love, Chungking Express, and Fallen Angels (all iconic films.) I was actually shocked how explicitly they modelled the styles of other directors. Esp Tarantino's Kill Bill trilogy and stylistic dialogue from Jean Luc Godard. I don't think it's overly significant to the story but definitely made this concept strong as hellll
Whoa 🫢😳. We got a 8 minutes movie. They all look sooo handsome🥰. Their acting is so good. It looks like the 5 members merge with Jungwon. Sunghoon protecting the girl. The girl is Park Ji Won a model born 2003. So excited for this comeback which is May 22. Thank you for reacting
Ok my theory:
1. All the boys except Sunghoon are under a spell (likely Trisha’s doing)
2. Sunghoon is with Sooha protecting her
3. Heeseung has a vision of this an relays the info to the other boys
4. They merge themselves into Jungwon for the battle
5. Sunghoon eventually looses the battle but Sooha comes and saves the day by biting them and taking back her powers
6. I believe that now Sooha has her full abilities she actually sends them back to the past for them to try again from the start (maybe that’s what the disintegration represents)
When Sooha said she wishes she was stronger this implies her desires to do things over differently. And also if the boys are going back to the past it would make sense they would ‘wait for her for eternity’ again. Finally this makes sense with the moon phases being cyclical they’ve reached the end of the cycle and now they get a fresh shot to do things over (just like TXT)
Basically this is a failed ending, whether or not this is their main timeline or not doesn’t really matter, and the TT MV will likely take place in a different timeline/dimension.
Edit: oh and at the start the boy says if you wish to escape from this twist of fate remember these two words… bite me. Aka biting allows you to escape from this reality and it’s fate
Whoa. This actually makes sense! Also in the BTS's storyline Jin travels through time again and again until everyone's saved. So this escape can be (potentially one of the many times) them going back to make things perfect(?)

My overall theory for ENHYPEN involves them time travelling quite a lot like in future perfect we see Sooha gets abducted and Jungwon turn the pocket watch and the then all of a sudden we are in the same location the MV started in. They’ve been using time travel to win their battles for a long time
I’m pretty sure the members said that Dark Blood has nothing to do with Dark Moon just incase people didn’t see that 😅
i didn't see that til later, but i hold true to my theory that i say towards the end, which is that this seems to be some alternate universe with a cyclical story (so loosely related but only just).
The boys seem really excited for this story tho! (no kidding, since they look awesome!)

The selective english subtitles is definitely intentional like. They could’ve done it but they did not want to for some reason outside of just subbing. The beginning and the ending do have subtitles in GREEN but not the rest?
i wonder why that is??? its super weird since they've had pretty consistent subs for released content for a while. i saw some theories saying they would somehow charge money for subs (wild) but i hope that's incorrect/exaggerated ;n;
@@LainaSunflower I think it’s part of the story, like what they’re saying in between must be important or not important enough that the rest (beginning and ending) was subbed. We had to translate it for ourselves, like trying to tell us: even though we can sub them, we want you to pay more attention to the green subtitles than what we are not subbing; or the opposite. They could subbed it if they wanted to, they did it for Le Sserafim… so I’m thinking it’s something story wise that they’re trying to make you feel and/or think. 😭 Idk I’m so confused lmao
Someone pointed it out how the subs were green, as well as the female lead’s and sunghoon’s sweater during the part where he is cheering her up, as well as the “BITE ME” thing, and the cans were also green. And it how it could be interpreted as freedom. I’ll leave you the thread here:

The empty pineapple cans are a symbol of time to end a relationship in another movie, maybe the one you mentioned. In that movie the boy who was in love with the girl bought a lot of can goods as a symbol of trying to keep the relationship going. When the last “use by date” was reached on the cans it would mark the end of the relationship so the empty cans mean it is time for Sunghoon to let go and end this relationship. As to the meaning of the concept and what is going on. Some say this is a dream Heeseung had and that it is a foreshadowing of what may come, others think it is an alternate dimension or that this is really what is happening. If any of this is true then I think regardless of the three mentioned ideas it's saying that to move on they must give up by letting the girl (Selena / Sooha) bite them, She will take back her power and they are freed. Sunghoon knows this but doesn't want to let go of their connection to the girl.The others try to get him to let go of his dream of maintaining their power because it is draining the girl of her power (She says it’s her fault because she is not stronger). They accept that they need to let go of the power and “return it” to the one who gave it to them in the first place. In the end when Sunghoon says “Bit Me” he knows he needs to also let go and accept their fate to escape it.
The cans in the japanese movie were dated May 1st, 1994 and the concept trailer was as well released on May 1st. The day that their relationships would “end”.

I like the theory that this is an alternate universe. My theory before I knew that this was not the Dark Moon universe was that the boys saved Sooha from Dardan but Dardan put them under a spell. However that spell didn't work on Sunghoon since he is part wolf. Since if you look at Jay when Dooha bumps into him, he has an expressionless face. I think Sunghoon is definitely trying to protect Sooha because when Niki was attacking the both of them Sooha was hiding behind Sunghoon and even ran from Niki. If Sunghoon was the one under the spell or was trying to harm her, she would try to get to the other members and Sunghoon was also trying to make her laugh (which was so adorable)
Also the fact that all the members (except Sunghoon) are connected. Like when Jungwon died Niki appeard and when Niki died Jay appeared. And when Sooha bit Jay they all passed out.
Also where in the world was Heesung in this. We only saw him for just a few seconds at the start. Maybe (if my spell theory is correct) he was trying to hold out and not completely fall under the spell and hurt Sooha.
The thing that co fused me as well was that Sooha said to Sunghoon before biting him "bye bye my love" which is interesting.
In conclusion Enhypen's comebacks never seem to get easier to understand.
I think the reason we don't see heeseung after all of them are "dead" is because one of them is alive.
when sooha bites jay we pan to a scene where jake, jay and sunoo are dead in the forest, there are footprints leading up to jay and jake's body but not sunoos who turns out not to have been bitten, which means he faked it, that's why we don't see heeseung. why he would fake it im not sure but i am never sure with sunoo in the enhypen storyline tbh

From what I understood they are in a disagreement about whether they should giveSooha the powers or not, I think they want to give her the power but Sung hoon knows that if they do they will disappear and leave her alone and at least in this storySooha and sung hoon don't seem to want to be apart.
In the scene where they are all gathered it seems that Heesung wakes up from a dream or has a vision and goes to tell the others what is happening, and then they are basically playing rock paper scissors to find out who will go after them and who. The chosen one is Jungwon and it's kind of implied that somehow everyone gets into Jungwon and every time one of them is defeated another one comes out and starts the fight all over again.
For some reason I don't think they are alternate realities, it seems to me that it is more about past lives, they are reliving the same events in each life, regardless of the different changes they may have, the same thing will always happen. I guess at some point sooha must find a way to get her powers back without killing them because it seems to me that's what happens when she bites them and gets her powers back, it's like this event, in every past life is the end and everything starts again.
PS: I saw a video where they do a super summary of the whole webtoon so maybe I'm leaving things out, haha because they only took into account the history and the facts of the webtoon

Hear me out! I have some crazy theories about this:
1) This is their second reincarnation or a part of timeline they have forgotten. You see how they don't remember the king and queen timeline? What if timeline in the webtoon(current) is like a third reincarnation kind of thing. Ok let me go explain.
Since King and Queen timeline with princess Selene was like a long time ago. And you are trying to tell me that from past time to the current timeline, nothing happened in between? I mean even werewolves had a past in 19th century like in the webtoon so i am guessing enhypen were doing something that time too (this could also be them experiencing things after they got out of orphanage. Since vampire can't experience love but Sunghoon was partly a werewolf and werewolves are romantic according to sooha in webtoon so he experienced love at first sight with the girl).
So here the DARK BLOOD is where we see a girl who we identify as Sooha because we think she is. But since Heeseung in his recent live told us that it can't be sooha. I am ruling that out and wondering what if that's someone Sunghoon was infatuated with(could be possibly 2nd reincarnation of sooha or the timeline she has forgotten or just a random girl but she looked like a vampire so it could be sooha's second reincarnation).
-DARK BLOOD: This is a mash up of current and past since there was a horse and motorbike. I believe this is 19th century and not 20th century timeline that they are currently living in. Why? Because motorbikes were invented in 19th century and horses were available most to use that time too.
In 19th century, they weren't aware of the power they had and that's why it explains why they don't use their individual powers in the trailer. They fight manually but as if in a defending stance.
What if...they are pretending to fight?
They are acting like they are fighting in front of the girl. Like you said when Sunghoon killed Jungwon, it was in a red background as if it never happened in reality but only for the girl to see like a drama skit. In past, usually in skits or drama, some people use to display red background to make people think a murder has happened.
Enhypen gave Sunghoon a chance to spend last time with the girl he is infatuated with and then they decide they would erase themselves from her side as if they died. This also explains why they were emotionless or were just not caring about it because they decided who will go first with rock paper and scissors as if it's just a play.
This is why Sunghoon disintegrated like bats in the end which is a power of vampires, while the girl thought they all died.
This also explains why we saw a mix of black and white and then colorful background. Whenever they were fighting, they showed black background as if it was a skit and in television from 19th century(because we didn't have colors that time in TVs). The girl's background was color because her reactions weren't a skit or play.
Why Heeseung wasn't there is because he is in the current timeline seeing all of this in his dream in 20th century and seeing all of this in his pov. We are seeing Heeseung's pov and that is why Heeseung is the main character (as said by Sunoo in his live).
And this also again explains why Sunghoon is so defensive when it comes to love someone again and acts tsundere with Sooha in webtoon because he used to love a girl but he had to leave her. He is afraid he has to leave Sooha too so he tries less about befriending her and tries to stay away from her. It's in his mind that he can't love someone but he doesn't know why because he forgot the 19th century timeline.
so im sure you’ve already figured it out but in the beginning, they all assimilated into jungwon, so when one is cut down, another will appear, but jake sunoo and jay were all out at the same time, they were simultaneously taken out by sooha… my question is was heeseung controlling the other 5 from afar because he can’t confront his queen, whom he loved in his past life?
I think this video is all about symbolism and is showing us the "eternal time loop" of them giving or taking their powers from Suha. And everytime this happens they bite her or she has to bite them. Therefore, all of them actually "fought" with SungHoon in some dimmension. That's why we can see them "taking Jungwon's place" at some scenes. And also we see Jay "transforming" into Jake when Suha bites him.
But it's not literal, so you're right when you talk about the motorcycle and the horse trying to convey that idea, that this has happened in the past and in the present. And ia going to happen in the "future" too. It happens in multiple dimenssions when things change, but the "destiny" is somehow fixed (or maybe not).
But at least, in every universe, they bite each other in an act of "Love" or "Sacrifice".
The lore of ENHYPEN is heavily based on the theme of multiple dimenssions and timelines, after all.
It's kinda a tragic history, much like greek mythology, but that's actually the more fascinating thing about these kind of lores in the k-pop industry. The way they try to express in music video really deep themes and philosophical questions.
ENHYPEN's lore is all about that...
- Is having a power a blessing or a curse?
- Do I "deserve" to be powerful? Or is just destiny? Or just luck?
- Can I change my destiny? Can I cange my future?
- Is everything already written? Can I make my own path?
- And of course... "What's the meaning of Love?"
We don't know what's going to happen towards the end in the specific history/timeline of the webtoon. But I will keep in mind that there are multiple dimenssions waiting for them.

what if this the origin of solon's bloodline, the hybrids?
I think in the part where they did the chair circle game thing and Jungwon got chosen, there all of the members, except Sunghoon, somehow entered his body(Jungwons). I think this could be like a "second chance" if one of them fails to beat Sunghoon, then the other ones can come out. Or as a battle strategy, element of suprise.
This explains the members constantly switching out when someone dies.
Also if this theory is true then we haven't seen Heli or Heeseung exit the body-

Heeseung, even if he got inside into Jungwon like everybody else, he didn't fight sunghoon unlike everybody else. Why is that so? Are sunghoon, potentially sooha and sunghoon teamed up or smth? One more thing, in the concept photos (full) there are the blacks candles which was in the boy's hand in the starting. ALSO, in the concept video there's a scene where heeseung and niki are sitting in the bed with their necks bitten (no one else had that bite mark). But also there were scenes where the bite mark disappeared. (only niki and heeseung's)

okie first thing I have to say is that this reminds me of a poem that I read when I was 10 (props to my memory for remembering that lol) called The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes
Second thing is that I think that it is another dimension or something new (or rewinding time??) because in their MMA performence before the comeback, they had a new moon (?) and then it went into a waxing moon... a new moon means a full revolution has happened so maybe it's an alternate universe or a sequel and they're going back to square one? idk lol

I was watching this trailer and i immediately thought “Laina is going to love this!” And I couldn’t wait for your video.
There are some things from the trailer that reminded me of the webtoon. Bite me reminds me of Heli and Chris because they both told Sooha to bite them because they trusted her. I’m not sure why they’re fighting but when she bites Jay the member fall as if something had been lifted from them like mind control. It reminds me of Trisha and how she controlled the members to fight each other and it almost seems like when Sooha bit Jay it released them from a trance since they were connected. This is just what I gathered from watching the trailer

I need help everyone, i just really just really like the trope of sooha and sunghoon, like the whole 'us against the world' yk. So if any of you have any book or movie or any media recomendation i'd really appreciate it, because i cannot stop thinking and imagining their story. Ahhh
while reacting to the trailer and while watching the first scene of the members gathering up (excluding sunghoon) the members said "we're going in!" my korean is not so great but i beleive that's what they said
so yeah they chose who to start first and that was jungwon, so he run after sunghoon but sunghoon got him unfortunately and so niki took the lead till he got hurt then jay took the lead but still couldn't escape so sunoo and jake got out and helped

Now, when asked if solon is gonna be the lead for the trailer, sunghoon was confused and said "solon is a drak moon character so he won't appear" heeseung also assured that sooha won't appear and i think it wasn't just them being silly but rather telling us that dark moon is just a story of some random vampires, yes enhypen are now telling that story through their mvs and yes it's their inspiration but we shouldn't be too stuck on it maybe, what do you guys (whoever is reading my comment up to here, i hope there's at least one person lol) think ?

Okay so this my thought Sunghoon is still in the past and the other in the present they're trying to take sunghoon with them cause they need to go but Sunghoon don't want to that's why they're fighting each other. She said love and sacrifice in the beginning so the sacrifice is to bite him for let him go. Ji won (the girl) have to bite them to let them go. that's why Sunghoon disappeared, so now Sunghoon go with them. They will go through multiple dimension or universe for the moment but we have the difference cycle of the moon so maybe that's mean this gonna be like a cycle until they find what they want that's mean a moment will come and they gonna be on the same dimension it will start from the beginning. Maybe that's why they said "I will wait for you all eternity" it will be a moment they'll see sooha again.

Glad you're back!❤ This is one is really interesting indeed, at first I was confused too but then I understood that they were I guess merging into each other when they leaned and that's why jungwon's eyes turned light blue. Sunghoon is definately protecting Sooha (if it's sooha) but it seems like this is another storyline for sure. The moon obviously has cycles so maybe like and eclipse or something could be affecting them, idk much I'm reaching here with moon knowledge😅 I think you're on the right track it must be alternate and a cyclical story.
