No it's not good. When the engine is up to temp the heater cools down as soon as the fan is turned on and blows cool air. The coolant returning from the heater is the same temp as the coolant going in without allowing the matrix to heat properly. It isn't constructed like a regular heater that has a thinner and longer passage through the matrix.
