What I hate about these ads is that they keep telling you that these heaters will defrost your windshield, but not the interior. I have defroster in my vehicle. most new cars have defrosters. I need a heater to keep me warm during the winter months while I’m sleeping!
Some Peole don’t have a defroster and i was driving 30 minutes each way at 27 degrees. I was worried cause ice was on windshield INSIDE vehicle and could NOT SEE! I bought the spray driver from autozone which did NoT help! This is why it’s advertised to defrost car windshields primarily...heating car is obviously a secondary effect! 🥴😏
I tried the Uma can one and it was a pos! Doesnt blow air hard enough to reach the window. N. ot made well as it burned itself up by melting the wires inside. used twice and then toasted.
For those looking for a well made heater with a variable output, I would recommend starting with a 110-120 vac car heater with a variable output from 500 watts to 1500 watts which will require a portable power station that boosts the cost of heating your car. Its an option although I wouldn't recommend leaving the portable power station in your car as it is an expensive item to replace if stolen. Some other options begin with a 12 volt heated mattress which can be bought for a hundred dollars but some places charge 200 plus for the same product. It keeps you warm but not the entire inside of the car. Electric blankets are also an option but again, they keep you warm, not the car. I'd consider buying the mattress first to see how well it works for you and then add an electric blanket if you need more to work your comfort zone.
My newer car does not have a cigarette lighter, and in the search box I asked for “car heater/defroster with telephone type adapter NO CIGARETTE LIGHTER” and this is what came up. Does anyone know of a product that will work?
unless you connect directly to the battery or a classic car, you are not going to get enough amperage to power a good defroster or after-market heater.
as little effort as went into making this, it was still a wasted effort, it provides no information that a 10 second amazon search provides, and all those including the ones in this video are all bait and switch chinese products that dont work
We are talking about old cars withou heaters not new cars😂! In my case I need a potable one! Cause I tried Ac! And does not work to defrost inside to windscreen! It's a problem
Size isn't the factor to consider as it relates more to the output as in maximum watts it provides. Some heaters put out less than 1500 watts but once a car has been warmed to a comfortable level, you might have to turn it down to keep it in your comfort zone. Size of interior relates to what you need although the exterior temperature and the humidity levels also relate to what you need. To suggest one heater provides enough for most cars is possible but again different people, different comfort zones which differs with dry cold vs damp cold around great lakes, oceans and rainy winters with heavy overcast. Dry heat is better than propane in damp or high humidity areas. Your car and your clothes also benefit with dry heat.

I would be very concerned that the flames coming out the vent would start a fire.
Thought the same thing
It has a dual purpose… I think it could also be used as a grill
I'm dead!😂😅😂

For defrosting windshield is one enough or would a person need to get one for drivers side and passenger side??
You will need to buy 2, so the car does not fog up when I’m tapping your mom. LOL

All of them look too small to really heat a car intrior.

How come you claim these to be the best when Amazon reviews for the most part say they are shite 🤔
ONLY THE 3RD LINK WORKS
Never tells you the wattage on these heaters!
every single one you mention is only 2 stars on amazon
All rubbish, no heat and no power been there
Are these scams and bad for your car's battery
BS materials? I smell BS as there is no actual review and just the AI reading the ad BS.
