- Hello everyone, and welcome to another The Isle Concept Analysis! This is a series I will be making for the following weeks where I explore and analyse all the dinosaur concepts that the devs have been releasing since 2020. Today we are going to discuss the Avaceratops.

One thing I really love about The Isle is how they make each dinosaur feel really unique

How does it differ from Beasts of Bermuda and Path of titans?
@@pratikgaikwad7472 I didn't say this was unique to the isle only. And I have never played BoB or PoT so I wouldn't know. I'm just expressing my love for the game here

There are already so many concept arts and they take so long to release even one dino, that I don't even waste my time hyping when I see them, maybe they won't even launch
Don't worry, it would be here at least in the next 10 years

Fun thing is that I suggested in the isle discord, that ava with its downward facing horn could expand abandoned burrows so that it could move into them
2:30 brings a tear to my eye,loved that map
if avaceratops were a playable it would be a fun playstyle and i think that a lot of people would like this idea.

You can play as them on certain community servers in Legacy

ava is meant to fit a boar playstyle which is very fitting
Ava should have boss music blasting when they are in dangerous proximity to the nest being blasted to the hatchlings and parents
Only hatchlings, so they can tell the parents in chat, “Why do I hear boss music?”
I love it! It manages to separate ava from protoceratops. It's the eviction master and can't actually make burrows
it's like a boar monitor lizard and potatoe all in one

I feel like if ava is ever announced to be A.I. for the base game, in 2075, there would be a massive backlash to make it playable just b/c of how fun it looks.
I do really hope that Ava is playable. Definitely could add some more flavour to the playable roster
Interesting to see that Ava is actually gonna be more of an aggressive AI as opposed to always running from everything like in Legacy
I honestly wish we could play this thing. It looks so much more fun and creative then like most of the other concepts in the Isle.

Im wondering if Ava and protoceratops will be rivals since Ava kicks people out of burrows while Proto protects its burrow by biting anyone or just leaving if it’s a large animal

I’ll definitely play Ava. Literally napoleon syndrome. Just being a massive dick to everything as an adorable ceratopsian is my dream.
When I saw the concept I thought that the ava was just killing and not eating those babies. I mean, it's pretty logical for herbivores to take the opportunity to kill their predators when given such a chance. That image was more showing the aggressive temperament of the ava rather than diet. I don't think it has an omnivorous diet, but we'll just have to wait and see.
It is an omnivorous diet as the ava left no bodies only leaving a half eaten one
@@Dracovenatrix Yeah it probably gored it in half and smacked the others around. If they make it omnivorous then it also would eat from normal corpses. I can't imagine they would actually do that. You might be right, but I call cap

with all these egg eating dinosaurs im beginning to be concerned that there wont be enough nests built to make these playables viable
There will be nests still being built, you just have to better at being a good parent

There’s a possibility it starts out as ai like compy and pterodactyls and then eventually becomes playable but… personally I rather play as a Ava as soon as it launches!!

if the nesting is like it is now when ava realeases then thats just another reason not to nest. Before they add ava they should do something about nests where both parents and the hatchlings get some unique benefits from it. hatchlings get the best benefits ofc so it encorages players to spawn in eggs. and adults also get some benefits from nesting to encorage more poeple to make nests.

Ava has a shorter frill with no elongated horns on it, with downward facing horns. Diabloceratops has upward facing horns with two elongated horns on top of its frill.
I can't wait to play as one in 2035 :D
