- Tear apart your prey and treat yourself to their innards. Update 6 brings forth the first iteration of gore, gifting each dinosaur with a plethora of delectable organs to feast upon. Meat, fresh and otherwise will impact your diet positively or negatively based on what part of a corpse you eat and how old it is. Utilize scent to select the best bits for yourself, leaving the rest for the scavengers. A discerning carnivore is drawn to death but wary of decay.

@@dinkelkong5043 Humans were a mistake they were too proud to scrap. Now the game will truly take 10+ years to finish. They can't even finish the dino gameplay yet, because they have too many ppl focusing on human concepts and buildings when they could all be working on dinos to make progress faster. Human gameplay being 100 times more complex will take them forever to complete if they ever complete their gameplay.

@@yukiiasakii9758it’s because they are trying to have shit in the game that would need be a big server like mmorpgs like new world and such. They lack the server infrastructure to do this. This is not might to run on private servers. Nor is it a simple game like rust and such with low population.
I am sure the servers would run fine if it was capped to 50 or so players but at that point I would take a game with an art style that’s easy to run and is simple if that would mean 200 to 300 people per server.

4 months later and I still have no idea why they felt the need for gore it only works on the dinosaurs not even the mammals and it adds nothing to the overall experience

now we just need the new map, an assload of more playables along with a few different mechanics for some of them, and some serious optimization and we'll have ourselves a solid game.

@@RebellionArtworks Oh yeah, I do actually remember the scent now that you mention it. A.I. was also a thing but was just a bit more brainless than the ones in Evrima (not to say that a group of compies attacking a sub-adult carno isn't already brainless on it's own)

i played it today for like 10 min... before i got bored playing the same dinosaur for almost 2 years now.. had 90fps and in some cases even 144fps. stop playing on an toaster and expect good "optimization"

Okay, the trashing animation is cool af. Gore is looking good, interesting diet changes etc. This is a fine addition but it took so long. Any playables? I mean I thought after more than a year, we would atleast get one new playable, or atleast the new map, or the migration system. You guys are extremely lucky that there is no actual competition out there.

@@kade-qt1zu Let's see. Beasts of Bermuda is an extremely niche game due to the mechanics and the overall look of the game. It has also a really small dev team with currently questionable amount of money to keep develop it. Currently I enjoy BoB the most tho, still it's not an actual competition. Path of Titans is basically the game of an ex isle coder. It's not a bad game but lacks deep mechanics, lacks polish and it will take 200 years to be finished, just like the Isle and BoB. There is no real competition in this genre, none. If there would be an actual talented and medium sized dev team, all of these projects would be dead by now.
Personally, I think PoT will come out on top. The most recent update has had more issues (mostly visual w/ worse animations) than usual, but typically speaking the game is quite high quality. Once mechanics and polishing come around, it’ll be top tier. Still by far the most visually stunning and optimized.

Can’t wait to play this, then see all the cool gore, then all the bugs and glitches, and then the over-rushed hot patch that breaks the game even more, then not play the game for two weeks because I can’t because of the massive amount of hackers.

Lovely addition but they needed way too much time to put this together. They had plenty of time to finish this and potentially add migration and the new map if they would have put themselves there. But I guess they needed to push out the little thing they had just before the Xmas to take advantage of the sales on steam😅
Hopefully they have enough braincells to know what optimization is, it's probably gonna be hell going into a highly populated server with tons of detailed bodies
I'd hope they do the stress test for roughly this reason. Not only to see if the server crashes, but also feedback from the players. Also hope they read these comments under youtube cuz optimalization is the one thing whined about beside people being impatient.
I wish. I used to be able to kinda see what was going on/sneak around a little and explore the maps, now years later on a better computer I can barely load in at all.

@Donkey Kong I agree, a few kids whining does nothing. But if enough people want change and actually do something about it, improvements can happen. (Even if it is in the dinosaur survival game genre which is known to be far from perfect.)

i have a friend with a rtx 4080 and even he wont get all the time safe 60 fps with just 1080p
@@lebensraumimostenfinden7531 then hes a liar cuz I have a 1650 and it runs 60 fps like 95 percent of the time. Only time it goes below is rendering, huge fights, or bugs which honestly is not as often as people make it out to be.
@@stickempires2608 i have a rtx 2070 and i have between 90 and 15 fps most of the time its ok but there are many Times i just get a hard lag Spike that will kill u when u have Bad luck
@@lebensraumimostenfinden7531 idk then maybe my computers weird its only very quick spikes for me. Any lag I end up getting goes away pretty quick and returns to normal. In super populated spots im still running on like 40 and games holding up just fine. If optimization with gateway goes well they can turn the game around which will be their final chance really.

Been with this game for long while now and idc if the updates are coming in slow, I like what y’all are doing with this game. It just gets more and more realistic. I love how y’all focus a lot on the small details in this game from the animations to the environment🙌💯

well herbi players got a fullfilled roster, you have small fast herbi, you have balanced mid tier herbi, and you have a slow hart hitting "large" herbi as stego
we carnis got: cool croc that is however confined to water
and THEN fast small dino and faster mid tier dino
Basically the carni roster lacks a balanced land mid/large tier that isnt about speed
i guarantee you if they wouldve added the cera or made an allo most players would be happy, its just in legacy the majority of carni players chose allo or above (giga/rex), now these players have nothing that has this playstyle in the game
