I just bought a 2024 Equinox RS AWD, had 4 miles on it. Like no one test drove it at all, until I did. I had my last Equinox bought it brand new in 2014 loved it so much. I had it 10 years before a deer totaled it, why I bought the new one. I love the new one love driving it.
Just purchased a new 2024 Equinox RS AWD and love it. Good bang for the buck and all the power and creature comforts needed for a crossover SUV. Very economical and easy to operate. Very impressed with the fit & finish by GM on this model and the interior and exterior appearance. Highly recommend.
RAV4. Just bought a previous generation 2018 that was a low mileage trade at a Lexus dealer. Negotiated 3K off their asking price. I like the style better than the new one and having a normal pull up handbrake and gearshift.
I have a 2019 Equinox with the 1.5, while not fast I find the power more than adequate. It drives as good or even better than my father in law's 2022 Rav 4 hybrid. The new gas powered 2025 Equinox was recently revealed in China, it looks very rugged and awesome. The new EV Equinox will be out on the streets shortly.
This is a Really Good Video and Audio. So far; you are about the only one that I have seen, that has Videoed a Review of a NEW Car that was Filthy Dirty. Could you not have gotten Chevy to have run it through the Car Wash before you conducted the Video Review of it?
Equinox looks good inside and out, but one engine choice, 6 speed trans, and mediocre fuel mileage not good. I had one as a rental, and was looking for a gas station after 300 miles. My Escape Hybrid has a 600 mile range and 25 more hp.
Equinox and Escape are in the same segment and always compared. Motor Trend just did a comparison test of both. However, GM is bringing out an Equinox EV this Fall that should be a winner. The present Equinox is not competitive IMO without a Hybrid version and only one engine choice.
@@michaelsheedy It's already been announced the EV variant will have 300 miles of range. As far as EVs go, that's a pretty competitive range. For comparison, Tesla Model 3 Long Range has a range of about 333. Mach E extended range is about 310 miles
I have the 2018 Equinox with the 2.0T that I bought used at the beginning of Covid mess. I originally wanted an Suv with a V6 but everything was kinda scarce back then so I settled for the 2.0T after owning it for a couple of years the only thing I don't like is that annoying Government Cafe Standard Start/Stop. The 2.0T drives like a V6 as it has about the same Hp and Torque, not a bad ride at all.
Other than a facelift it looks identical to my sisters 2018 Equinox. That being said you couldn't pay me to drive any GM FWD vehicle. I'll stick with the RAV4, thanks!

Jesus, no one in the dealer thought about atleast driving it through their car wash? How do you show off your inventory like that as a dealership.
It’s not that serious lmao

I just bought a 2024 LT and love the car. It has everything I wanted and I paid less than $30,000. Good ride and enough power to pass safely.
The adaptive cruise control is one of my favorite things.

Just traded my 2018 RAV4 XLE to a 2018 Equinox LS lol
@@telucylu9348 your RAV4 would have been a lot more trouble free for you.

Too bad Chevrolet didn't update the gauges and infotainment like they did with the 2024 Trax, Trailblazer and Traverse.

At this price point, I’d just get a Premier
Yess i have a 22 premier which has under 12,000 miles
Cooled sears come in the premier version.
Nice but someone should have washed it.
Great review Ben.

Papi ... not many vehicles will have a 600 mile gas range .... If its and HYBRID ... why compare ??? Its something totally different
@@Xyz_Littypapi, all Chevy vehicles suck so this is no surprise to anyone

Where are you driving where you cant find a gas station within 300 mile radius
Chevy all the way!
Nice car and good red color
I like everything about it except the power output is seriously lacking.
Careful who you vote for!
Would you guys pick 2024 Chevy equinox or 2024 Chevy trax?
The Equinox felt more comfortable. Plus AWD and higher HP.
Excellent car
This is definitely a winner!

Great paintjob!
Too bad Chevy got rid of the 2.0 turbo to add some sport to the RS package.
Its still there but they have to meet Government Cafe Standard restrictions put in to effect by the Obama admin.🙄
What did they added to be $38.000+ ?

i pick this one too 🙂
Ben,
Take these vehicles and spray them off at least. That thing was nasty, making it difficult to see the body lines.
It’s a Chevy equinox, it’s dirty and cheap no matter how you clean it

10 year old interior and they got rid of the 2.0T. Scam

Equinox will be a rolling pile of crap. RAV 4 CRV 10 times better in every category.
