What a fantastic overview of season 2. Really impressed with how you broke it all down. Well done. I haven’t seen your channel before but you’ve earned a new subscriber. Cheers, Mark
This and your S1 video are the best 2 videos covering final girl I've ever seen. Your coverage of the locations gives me far more feel for the game than anyone else has. And you give time to the title characters, the final girls! Thank you. Hope you do a season 3. I think you've managed to convince me to jump into a few features from s1 Well
Funny thing. My very first experience with Final Girl was getting and playing Station 2891. I personally don't think it is hard to get into it. But yes, extremely thematic! That's the feel I got when I was looking at which one to get and, man, it seriously delivered!
Another amazing video and overview! You're the only channel on here that showed the miniatures and the components along with an in-depth description and review of each feature film. Moreso because I was looking to buy another feature film and wondering if I should get the miniatures, but no videos on here really show them or tell you which film each figurine goes with. Thank you!
Enjoyed this overview and your relaxed manner of presentation. Would love to see another video covering the remaining content. I impulse bought S2 from my FLGS but haven't played every film yet - my favourite so far is Into the Void, which really does feel like an Alien movie! I can imagine a lot of the killers would be fun to play against on the USS Konrad map, especially with the self-destruct and airlock mechanisms.
Great overview, I was in doubt which feature film to buy next and this video was perfect to help taking that decision. You've just earned a new subscriber :) Keep going!
Lol! Glad you liked it. Blair Witch is one of my favorites and made me fall in love with Found Footage horror. Fingers crossed we get a Final Girl inspired box one day 🤞
pointed out that Void and Panic were an homage to the thing and alien but pretty sure just as well done is Knock at the Door and Wolf Asylum being an homage to You're Next and the Strangers for Knock. even giving you a blender to kill someone with my favorite kill from You're Next and silent hill for Wolf I believe just from how it looks also the final girl named Heather. however, also an homage to Heahers since the final girls are named Heather and Veronic hell Heather has a bone saw which is not a chainsaw but close enough to line
@@boardgameapprentice it also looks very silent hill rachet lady looks a bit like the nurses from 2 the map is rusty and gives the vibe of the other world hospital I am a huge fangirl of silent hill so there is that i ould be reading in to it but that is what it felt like
i had a fun moment with the kick scooter and the nail gun i dropped zeek and then used the scooter to move to just out sid of trish and shoot her with my 2nd to last nail but then zeek got back up with hp but he couldn't act that turn to chase me down. so i used the scooter to just go back to him and shoot him with my last nail and since i was at range I didn't have to roll for it i just killed him also trish did not chase me because there was a victim in the other room next to her that she thought needed to die more than me
Did my first game ever with The Organism, while watching The Thing. It wasn't too complicated after the first few turns. If that's the most complicated one, I think as long as you understand the theme and have played some board games before beyond monopoly then this game isn't that hard to understand.
I agree! If you can get through camp happy trails, I don't think any feature film is too daunting. Playing while watching the movie sounds like a ton of fun!

Thank you for the kind words & sub Mark!
0:08 that cut made me think i was going crazy for a second 😂
Lol! Sorry about that. The horror is supposed to be coming from the feature films 😬

Great video! Hope you will make one for season 3 when it comes out!
I hope so too! I did make a preview video of season 3 if you are interested in the meantime! 😁

Thanks, bro!
Glad you enjoyed!
If i buy season 2. I still need to buy the core box right?
Correct! Regardless of which feature film you get you need a Core Box.

Good catch with "Heather" final girl maybe being an homage to Silent Hill!

Nurse Ratchet from One flew over the cuckoo's nest. Pills and name are the reference
It's crazy how The Strangers gave everyone amnesia towards the decades of Home Invasion movies that came before 2008.
Thank you, i bought everything except the crows and zombies 😅
Awesome!! Have fun!

@@boardgameapprentice it's likely how I'll play all of them from now on. Though I'll have to wait a year since I went all in on S3
