DUDE!!! This is awesome :) Thank you. I was about to order the C922 which is almost triple the price at the moment. Fortunately everyone is out of stock. The Ausdom was recommended as an alternative, but at half the price, I had my doubts. Your review is just what I needed!
Oh come on dude. We want to see more comparison footage. It looked to me like the Ausdom was constantly hunting for focus, which is a real no-no in video conferencing or streaming. It will give the viewers a headache.
Ausdom AF640, the key function is auto focus. when you move, it will react quickly to focus again. You can try some fixed focus webcam if you don't like this function. :) Good luck!
logitec focus is faaster in 1 sec and ausdom took 4 sec but logitec lost the focus at 2nd sec and recovered it again before 3 seconds
Ausdom is warmer colour, logitech is cooler colour. Audio is meh, but it doesn't matter if you use zoom. Because however good the audio you route to zoom it's going to be bad. 😂 I patched an Audio technica at2020 to zoom, guess what, sounds only slightly better than the laptop mic. Headphones were used to ensure no feedback. Good video by the way 👍. Now we need a video on cheaper capture cards.

Webcam sound some slightly via Zoom, it is true. When i connected heaphones, headphones sound also sound slightly. Maybe it is the Zoom settings on Microphone volume. Maybe can try to adjust your PC sound in Settings to improve it.
Currently going for only RM 145 in shopee. Picture quality very close to logitech. Considering the price difference this this is a much better choice.

It's almost 2 weeks i've been researching for affordable webcam but quality. Found your vlog and it's amazing. The price is so different for both cameras. Everyone is looking for logitech but thanks for introducing this Ausdom cam. It's affordable in shopee app. :-)
The Ausdom looks more vivid, definitely a wider view, but It also has a slight fish eye look too. If you look on the left side of the screen, you can clearly see it between the top and bottom 2 minutes into the video. If you need, use a ruler on the edges of the wall. For me, Logitech is a better cam because I hate the fish eye look. If the Ausdom didn't have the fish eye then I would be more accepting. A better webcam though, I think it's a matter of preference if you like a wider view or not. I would also have to say the same about the fish eye too. We all have our own opinion, so it really your call on which webcam is better.

The wide angle is not important since a webcam is made to see the person you chatting with not his surrounding, the focus on the other hand is important and I see that the Logitech is better in focus picking.
If don't like widescreen, you can try Ausdom AW635. it is 60 viewing degrees. Or you can try the new model, AW651, can switch 75 degrees to 60 degrees as you like.

have you used it for long period of time e.g more than 12 hours? I want to know if there's any overheating issues, be it dropped frame rates, increased delay, other instability issues or the whole thing'd crash.
So far no such issues
Ausdom AF640 is a quite mature webcam, have been exsited in market for many years. There are few overheating issues or other issues due to market feedback. Good luck !

Ausdom AF660 can support 1080P at 60FPS, much more smoother.
Hey, what's the difference between AF640 and AF925? They're nearly the same price and I couldn't find any difference checking the specs. I need help so I can choose wisely.

AF640 auto focus action is better than AF925; and AF640 is 90 viewing degrees; AF925 is 75 viewing degrees. almost funvtions are same. so price is similar.

Is there a way to deactivate the widescreen on the Ausdom Cam? Becaus personally, I really don't like widescreen
If don't like widescreen, you can try Ausdom AW635. it is 60 viewing degrees. Or you can try the new model, AW651, can switch 75 degrees to 60 degrees as you like.
I want to be able to use external audio, not audio from the camera. And I like to be able to adjust white balance and other image settings. Can you do a video on which cameras are best to let us use our own settings. Logitech I have found gives settings designed to work for all situation but not work well for any particular one. Hope you can do this video. Oh, on sound quality, the Ausdom was the best but your audio not using either of the cameras is what the goal should be. Your audio sounds very rich and good. Thank you.
Ausdom webcams are compatible with Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, OBS and so on. you can change webcam settings through these APP functions. AF640 real sound quality, I advise you can search other videos to listen. :)

Ausdom AF640 is 1080P 30 FPS Auto Focus; Ausdom AW651 supports 2K 30FPS and 1080P 60FPS and it uses better microphones to do noise cancellation, so AW651 sound is clearer than AF640. Of course, the price is much higher, too. :)

I bought the Ausdom cam 6 month ago. I can surely say that is the worst cam I’ve ever seen. With that camera if there is not much light, your image will be completely dark, but if the light is right on you, your face will be all white on the image. I don’t recommend buying it

Sorry mate, but as a potential customer (having none of either) you forgot to talk about color reproduction. You are pink as all hell on the AF640

What is the difference between af635 and af640 and is it worth the extra 100?

Both have autofocus but, the af635 is not wide angle
af640 is auto focus, 90 wide angle; aw635 is manual focus, 65 view angle. both quality is good due to market feedback.

Yes, Logitech has better audio quality. Its microphone cost is better with higher cost, too. :)
