One thing the CGI details left out is the vapor cones and vapor trails that would come off the suit during supersonic flight. Look at any gen 5 fighter jet during an air show and you’ll see vapor trails coming off of the wing tips. On the iron man suit there would have been vapor coming from the fingertips and shoes

Iron Man 3 focused on combat, and also don't forget that mark 42 can't fly properly and fly higher than 150m. Because its a prototype

The only sonic boom vapor cone in the whole series was in Iron Man 1 during the F-22 chase.
