50+ years in London and I've had one attempted mugging (which I just walked away from) and was caught up in an IRA bombing on Oxford Street in the 80s. I find London very safe generally. Love the bowler. First time I've seen one in London in modern times.
I had my purse snatched off a back of a street side pub chair in Sept 2022, lesson learned!!! We are back next week albeit wiser. TIP: keep your passport in the room safe.
Don't carry your passport, have the Hotel keep it in their safe. And if you go out at night and get loaded, take a black cab. If you can't afford that you can't afford London.
Sorry you got that wrong There's no law you have to have affordable housing anywhere in this country. And it's called Westminster Bridge, Not ''the Westminster bridge''
@@StarstruckByLondon - I believe the affordable housing rule is for new developments. The developer has to allocate 35% to affordable housing within large private developments. I believe the developers also have options to move the 35% allocation to another site if they don't want to include it within an exclusive luxury development in an expensive part of town for example.
Loftus Road. Well, dodgy. Especially in the stadium. QPR supporters hang out there. They’ll probably try to sell you are car stereo, or worst of all, a home seating ticket.

Yes! Good point on the passport
We are in London next week for round 2 visit. Look out for two tall Canadian gals. Hope to bump into you.
I surely will be out and about filming. You should try the excellent Canadian bar from my Covent Garden video ruclips.net/video/j9E0Iso9dAs/видео.html

Central London is where most visitors are going to be and the most dangerous things there are speeding and careless bicyclists and electric scooters.
Well, yes. Physical danger. But getting your phone or wallet stolen is no picnic.
Sound advice!
Pretty common sense stuff, but it’s amazing what escapes people

Noted. Thanks for watching. I appreciate the feedback. I shan’t make the Westminster Bridge mistake again!

@ thanks for the clarification.
Good work. Common sense goes a long way.
Indeed. Thanks for watching!
Very safe.
Agree.
I'd be anxious about being on the internet because someone was filming.
Fair.
Sounds a lot like Boston! Sadly, it’s everywhere, no matter where you live. Even the burbs aren’t immune these days. Times, they are a changing!
Yeah, those Wrentham phone snatchers must be everywhere! Lol. Thanks for watching, M. ❤️
Boston is way safer, and London itself is pretty safe

😂😂😂
Like any other city, just use a bit of common sense
Pretty much the message, mate.
so that, unsafe place i think.
Not as bad as portrayed, but common sense needs to be used.
