Thank you Georgia! It was really helpful and reflective 🌸 I am going to London in July to study at Saint Martins summer course and also wanted to meet up with you! Hope my wish comes true 🤞🏼
I’m the one who made the strategic design and writing articles questions, thank you very much for your answers! I definitely LOVED those videos where you talk about strategic design because it’s content I feel related to 🙋🏻♀️
@@georgiadoustit’s not going! I would say this is one of those moments when one gets stuck and doesn't know which way to go, but let’s see what comes next! 🫠
Hey Chloe, I have not! I've only ever visited for work or holidays. Congrats on the move, how exciting! What are you loving about Melbourne? Definitely has lots of cute cafes and galleries 🎀
hey georgia! I moved from mexico to barcelona about six months ago, and i would love to ive in london some day so watching your vlogs always makes me excited, hope you're good
Although I do wanna ask - I might move to Sydney if I do go back, what area would you recommend that is similar to Hackney/East London? Probably even more unaffordable now but just in case!
oooh, great question !! if i haaaaddd to compare, I would say Surry Hills is probably the most hackney-esque area. And from there you can pop over to carriage works for the farmers market, glebe for vintage fashion markets, and up to centennial park for a victoria park-esque moment haha. more unaffordable but probs still more affordable than london haha where else would you be thinking of moving to in aus?
@@georgiadoust ah nice I’ll have a look! My main reason for moving back is friends/fam but they’re all in Newcastle and I find it a bit boring living there sometimes. So I think I want to try Sydney so I could still visit pretty easily and work for bigger companies but I’m struggling to decide 🙃
Hey Georgia, great video. Very informative. Currently in Sydney also thinking of a move over to London. Wondering which visa you and your partner got for the move? Thanks!
heya, thanks so much for watching! I have a british passport and my partner is on the skilled worker visa through his work. The youth mobility visa would have been another option too for under 35's! Hope that helps!
Sign me up for whatever you are organising to bring people together!!! I need new local friends 😭
love! will 100% let you know haha are you based in east london too?
