@@rtqii One of the pipers in the video is from Scotland and no not the red head, though everyone thinks that's who it is because all they know about Scotland is ginger wigs, tartan shortbread tins and bagpipes, there was a time when EVERYONE was banned from playing pipes in Scotland but where are you getting your pish from?
@@andy70d35 It wasn’t until 1976 that the UK’s Sexual Discrimination Act was enforced and female pipers were allowed to participate in some of the top competitions, but it took until last year before Edinburgh’s Royal Scottish Pipers Society finally voted to admit women.

As a retired police officer my buddy was killed in the line of duty in California. Bagpipes were played at his funeral. I love and respect the pipes in his honor. Ladies you just took the pipes far & beyond, Thank You Goddesses of the Pipes.

I was, I'm too old now, an aspiring bubble gum grunge rock musician. I added a lip sync of " Don't Stop Believing" to my act. An ancient Greek once said that if you make women the equal of men,, then they will become Superior to men. I don't have any problem with that, I feel like half of me has finally come alive. And you my darling lovelies have made me fall in love all over again.

I love Pipes (and Pipes and Drums). It's amazing that a musical instrument approaching 1000 years in age with hardly any change during that period, is so fantastic for playing modern music of any kind.

I mean, yeah I'm a red blooded American who can appreciate a beautiful woman in a corset and skirt or kilt...but that has nothing to do with my praises here. WOW !!! That was incredible, Great performance, replicating Neal Schon's guitar intro isn't very easy. I was playing it in my head as you played the pipes, surprised the hell out of me when you kept going when I was already transitioning to the high note bend. Unbelievable.
