FTP go get a incand BXR battler from dares OR lunas which has heal clip incand and subsistence incand, Raider ftp go get zhoulis(even if hc were nerfed in pve), nonraiders that got lightfall go get epochal integration, sexiest cannon ever made. ppl who got craftable adhortative from Wish, that has heal clip incand and is amazing, Trustee is a cool 260 scout that rolls with it from DSC.
All of the good incandescent guns are either heavily rng or behind raids. And the one that isn't is behind a campaign and a quest aka the epochal @@CleopatraKing

They’re intended to be used by players who haven’t managed to get a better option yet. Bungie has stated so many times that the intended purpose is for these weapons to be a diet god roll. They’ll have an A+ perk and a B+ perk or a great combo, but a less than ideal frame or weapon type for it.
it is absolutely a weapon, which i guess is the point of ritual weapons since salvager's salvo was an outlier, but python wasn't considered a pinnacle and i'd still love weapons like that again

A decent weapon that has one of my favorite gun models. The Seventh Seraph VY-7 SMG from S10 (season of the worthy) that hasn't been returned to us yet. Very cool SMG that had an ornament.. a shame we can't use the ornament on Perfect Pitch
If it just had rewind rounds.. I really wish you get the one curated role, then you unlock it as a ritual drop after unlocking it in said activity with more potential perks.

Not every gun has to be Meta. Im a Destiny elitist and there are times I like to just run regular strikes so I can use fantastic looking, great feeling, and fun weapons just like this one here. One of my favorite non-meta builds is my Void Titan with Lion Rampant Exotic leg armor paired with the Exotic SMG 'Manticore', With this set up I spend more time in the air than I do on the ground. Now I'd never waltz into a raid or GM nightfall with this set-up but thats why I really like the easy stuff like vanilla lost sectors and the Vanguard ops playlist. One of the main reasons why I play the game is for the weapons and overall combat which feels incredible and is something Bungie has always excelled at.
I have a calus crafted, bug out bag with Sub/incandescent, and I’m 100% going to run this for a while in PvE. Having the option of onslaught/incandescent in that second column adds some more variety to setups.
Ritual weapons are just 7 enhancement cores now. They ruined ritual weapons long ago, overnerfing their potency when designing new ones. "70% of a god roll" is basically most of the drops you'll get naturally. So basically, rituals are just worth breaking down into their materials.
get rid of subsistence. that or give it an overhaul where it will start reloading the mag more and more based on how many kills you get. it should be a stackable perk with like 4 stacks. first kill gives one stack and reloads a little, then another kills adds another stack and reloads a little more, and so on up to 4 stacks where it will actually give you a useable amount of ammo back.

Yes, incandescent is great, always has been… but onslaught is an S+ tier perk ESPECIALLY when you pair it with a perk to reduce the need to reload, which in this case is subsistence. TL;DR: Bungie STILL has a balancing problem lmao. The perks don't match for any activity,pvp or pve, the gun seems confused. But I'm sure they didn't want a solar shayuras wrath taking over EVERYTHING so I mean I get it.
Submachines are kind of garbage. They eat through ammo with a small magazine size, and do damage that's comparable to Autos per bullet, except their recoil is comparatively crap, and their range is comparatively crap. Like why would anyone want to use an SMG when you can just use one of the many way better Auto Rifle options that exist? SMGs right now, at least in PvE (which let's be real is really all that most people care about) are basically something that community has subconsciously conditioned themselves to use just so that they don't have to admit an entire class of available weaponry is so useless it may as well not exist. Maybe if it gets buffed later, but for now just vault your SMGs and use a Pulse Rifle for Barrier breaking, and if you just want good automatic weapon damage, use an Auto Rifle ffs. Better range, magazine size, and overall versatility. Literally no reason to use a SMG right now.

Subsistence can barely be proc’d and the slow ass reload is painful. Wish bungie would make good weapons for free to play players. They make these free weapons crap to push people to buy whatever content is currently ongoing. Predatory like always 🤦🏻♂️

It's a good weapon for new players definitely. You ahve a weapon that gives you incan or onslaught. That said, parabellum to me has the better rolls and it's a world drop. Heal Clip+Frenzy is just nasty good on an SMG.
Literally just use Calus Mini Tool or if for some weird reason u are really obsessed with 600s, use No Survivors from Ghosts; better stats and better perk combos. Literally don’t even recommend this for new lights when stuff like Heliocentric exists
Probably controversial, but I’ve stopped enjoying SMGs massively. Calus rarely comes on now because HCs and other types are so much safer and easier to use.
It’s good if you don’t got a good Solar smg. I don’t care for it because I’ve still got my godroll Calus Mini-Tool, which I haven’t had to find a replacement for at all, since it’s just so good at what it does. If someone wasn’t around for that reprised weapon, or can’t find a better Solar smg, then yeah, give Perfect Pitch a shot.
Imagine if ritual weapons had three different static roles, one for PvE, one for PVP and a hybrid role(Gambit). Even if the weapon had shit stats the perks could potentially save it
I liked using for a bit but the 600 rpm just kept me from liking it 100%, I'd rather be using my 900 rpm calus mini with enhanced unrelenting and incandescent. Like if I want to use a precision weapon that I have to fire in bursts I'd use a pulse or even an adaptive frame auto

Ill be honest with having enhanced lead from gold on the call and the ergo sum with blade stamina, i find my not rocking a primary at all in pve. You don't need it. So this is an ok gun but tons of weapons crap all over it. Tldr get it if you need a semi good rolled smg then get a better one afterwards. Or if you have better guns 7 easy enchancement cores YAY!

I keep it in my inven because sometimes I like using it for easier pve content and it’s especially useful with subsistence and Incan but the dmg isn’t there for anything higher difficulty

I don't really like that they reused the seventh seraph smg model. It makes the original feel less unique. It's not really a big deal, but it still kind of bothers me.

It's alright. Enhanced Subsistence and Onslaught is a fun combo in at-light PvE.
Once I i got mida mini crafted ive never looked at another solar smg. But if you cant get 5 red border midas these will do in a pinch

YAROVIT MG4 is good. I have Desperate Measures, Rewind Rounds on it and its pretty nasty. I was surprised the damage it does.

It feels like it fires to slow! I sharded it after about 25 kills i think im just use to everything being 900rpm 😐.
If To The Pain proc both equipped and while holstered and lasted like 10 seconds and refreshed on taking damage, it would be a better perk overall

this is very good for ftp players, but if you already have calus mini-tool then i suggest not even touching the ritual weapon.
I don't really like that they reused the seventh seraph smg model. It makes the original feel less unique. It's not really a big deal, but it still kind of bothers me.

Subsistence feels dogshit on this. Looks good on paper, but it doesn't work.
i watched you test this weapon live and you swapped weapons way too often to fell the power of 10x To The Pain. It shines when that is ramped up.
I see how they tried to bring in a solar smg for those without the Mini-tool and then give it Breakneck perks to be cool but smg range makes it meh

I just wish smgs didnt feel so awful to use at the moment. Ever since the buff to hand cannons, smgs just havent felt good to use
