I really liked Mitch's staircase shot looking down towards the car. Frames the car and overall contrast with the black car is so beautifully done. Love the composition as well! Actually i found it the best shot among all of them
The d3300 is a fine dslr for someone who just love to take pics

Hey, can you explain how you edit a photo (like 10:12 min) so the background is symmetrical ?

Don’t ever underestimate a Nikon camera, I shoot with a Nikon D5500 and it might not have all the fancy features of a Sony but the 14-Bit RAW images Nikon produces are on another level even on their entry level cameras
Its so nice to know that a budget camera can take amazing photos like that. So at the end you, i mean your creativity and your experience matter the most

My guy flexed hard on us by telling us that his SD card is worth more than the entire camera...
He got ripped off and over paid for that sd card

the nikon d3300 is the camera I use, i got it because i have a very low budget but so far its impressed me even with the kit lens

Get the Nikon 10-20mm lens you won't regret it, that's my favorite lens for Street/Night Photography
It is not the cost of the camera that makes or breaks a photograph. It is the mind of the person holding the camera. Look at the greats, the Bresson's, the Hasse's, the Atget's, the Lange's- the list goes on and on. Their lenses are considered junk today compared to a Red Line Canon, etc.
Their film was shockingly limited in the number of stops it can record. The Exposure meter was often their eyes. They had to set the controls for each shot manually. Their photos that we find fascinating today are often blurred, with significant vignetting from substandard lenses. It is the mood of the photo and what it evokes in us, how it catches the eye with a fragment of a childhood memory in your mind. Not dependent on what a $4000 lens can do.
You want to take better pictures? Take the camera/lens you have or get an economical digital camera with a kit lens, and take 25,000 pictures in the next 12 months. Start by taking pictures of a single theme each week for the next four weeks. The theme can be anything. Pets, kids, advertising signs, stop lights. One I like is the alphabet. Randomly pick a single letter and for the next week take pictures of that letter everywhere you see it. Concentrate on the letter. Look for it on the sides of buildings, street signs, buses, trucks, shorts. The next week do a different letter. You can even drill it down to a letter of a certain color. When you start looking, the first hour you will be discouraged. By the second day you will begin to see that one letter in many places. By the end of the week, there won't be enough hours in the day to shoot all of them you now see.
Have fun. Be a kid again. Do something (shoot a pic) just on impulse - no reason. And keep shooting. Shoot shoes. Shoot shoelaces. Shoot, shoot, shoot.
You shoot at f/22 with a kit lens and say you had to expose for 30 seconds for a decent quality of the car?! Do you even know how aperture works? Ever heard of diffraction? Like, get to f/11 and slow the exposure time, and use the hyperfocal distance to focus the car and the background, or even better, since you stacked shots anyway, stack shots with different focus, so you can shoot a better foreground and background... where's the "pro" in this? Also, almost all the pictures came out well only because of the editing in Photoshop, without it they'd be worse than an iPhone pic... This isn't Pro vs Amateur, this is Expensive vs Cheap, but the skill is the same... and there's not a lot of it...

how did you manage it so its not reflecting yourself in the black car... i took picture of a black car one time and every single time i saw myself ... so i couldn't take pictures from the side, i had to take photos from the front because it was just terrible.
