I believe at one time....that's what you guys were using on models a couple years ago as well. I got tired of all the confusion....switched all my machines over to Rotella T6. $49.99 for a 6 quart container at TSC....can't ask for more affordable than that.

What size washers do you require for the oil drain plug, transmission drain plug and both front and rear diff drain plugs for a 2023 Cforce Overland 1000?
Hi, in the manual cf moto recommended oil is sae15w-40/SG and you are putting TOTAL QUARTZ 9000 5W-40 in this engine so I asking you why? 🤔I hope you can answer this question

Is there such thing as an oil service reset? My CF1000 just hit 30 hours 300 miles and the oil icon appears and blinks 3x in every startup and randomly when putting it in Park after usage for a bit. Doesn’t stay on just flashes 2-3x then goes away.
Hope you read this, could you guys possibly find a way to turn the headlights completely off while the machine is turned on/key on I would love that, even when my 800ex light switch is in the “off” position the running lights i guess you can call them are still on , that’s my only pet peeve about this machine
It's just the way it is set up from factory for the "running lights" to cut on with the key.. I'll post something about it if I figure it out some time
Hi Blake. Need to double check with you if we can use the 10W-40 oil instead of the 5w-40 for the cforce 1000 overland. Castrol magnatec 10w-40 synthetic technology. THANKS
The pull-out spout is a European thing, I'm not too familiar with very many European brands of engine oil but the two I know of are this Total brand and Motul. Motul also does the pull-out spout with their engine oil as well. Which, to be honest, I wish some of the US brands did with their oil bottles as well. As far as oil brands go I'm a big fan of Royal Purple and AmsOil. Question: Does CFMoto do something similar to Polaris where they require you use their oil for your oil changes? When my friend got his Sportsman a few years ago the dealer told him he wasn't allowed to put any other brand of oil in his atv or else it would void the warranty. I don't like it when manufacturers force you to use their stuff, especially when it's priced higher. :)
Do you all do a valve adjustment on your first service? My dealer tried to upsell it to me when I got my 800EX and Cforce 600 first serviced but Everything is still running great so I declined it and I didn’t want to spend the extra $800 for them to do that when I haven’t noticed any difference in how it runs. Just seeing what you all recommend.
i want to buy a new quad just trail ridings, long trail ridings 100-200kms per weekend. And i cant decide betwen a cf850 or brute force 750 .. are these cf motos any good on engine and on belts..

US models are a 1 year manufacturer warranty.. Canada is the only place in the world that I know of that comes with a 5 year.. but it cost more up there. Now you can buy a cfmoto extended warranty in the US
LC power sports was the name of your channel with the red Polaris sportsmans! Why did you go Chinese? Especially given what China has released into to world in 2019?

Yes I ran the LC Powersports channel for the first year.. and I had to move.. and I left the channel with Brandon and he is still doing a great job.. I started this New channel in November of 2019.

Can you do a full service video? Oil, Transmission, differentials, coolant etc. I can't seem to find any videos on these for the Overland.
Those Overland 1000's would be a blast to try out. I haven't tried an ATV any bigger than a 400. So it would be night and day for me. 😀

I live in Canada and have a 2021 C1000, I love the machine but find its a bit warm on the legs on hot days. Anyone else notice this?
It's warm. Then so are the other guys too.

The old oil could have been completely drained ,also attach a new filter and only then lower the cap.

we all know amsoil is the best oil but also the most expensive n sometimes hard to find oil

its a french brand names Total quarz its a really good oil i use it about 20 years in my cars and the oil was never the probleme 😁

5w40 has the widest temperature range
