I have been a watch enthusiast for over 4 decades, and I have owned hundreds of watches. I have about 40 in my collection now. If the watch does not speak to you, then get rid of it. This pursuit is about enjoyment and enrichment. The path is different for everyone, but we share a passion for watches that crosses borders. The company I fly for, Atlas Air, was founded by Michael Chowdry who was from Pakistan. I delivered flood disaster aide to Islamabad about 10 years ago or so with a Glycine Airman on my wrist. An excellent interview, Abdullah. This reminds me of my academic postgraduate studies when, not initially thinking it possible, I secured an interview with a federal judge in the US. You should consider doing your own watch podcast (with other guests from the watch community) or publication, as you are very well spoken, coherent, and are organized in your thoughts. I would personally like to hear more of your philosophical analysis, including the consumerist aspects of being a watch enthusiast!

Abdullah, great that you mentioned some key things there; a lot of RUclips is opinionated reviews not industry or wide ranging watch specific knowledge that is much needed, the importance of design and the significance of understanding wearability on wrist...along with the need to spend time with the watches not just looking at them. The speed that people do this is up to them. Watching this video you came across as the expert. I'd love to see you explore your architectural knowledge overlayed with watch designs.
