A fictional film set in the alluring world of one of the most stunning scandals to rock America, American Hustle tells the story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), who along with his equally cunning and seductive British partner Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper). DiMaso pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia that's as dangerous as it is enchanting. Jeremy Renner is Carmine Polito, the passionate, volatile, New Jersey political operator caught between the con-artists and Feds. Irving’s unpredictable wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence) could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down. Like David O. Russell’s previous films (The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook ), American Hustle defies genre, hinging on raw emotion, and life and death stakes.

Even the actress that played Ritchie's Mom was good. Her facial expression when Ritchie told her he wasn't going to settle for anyone.
This movie had great comedy laced all the way through it. Ritchie's Mom's prayer cracked me up when she prayed for him to marry his fiance and have children so the Pope would have more followers. Priceless!
One of a few movies where everyone deserves an Oscar ! ! These People Nailed it ! !
Jennifer Lawrence is scary hot!
This movie is sensational!!! Its a classic for sure I bought the DVD and watched it everyday almost for 6 months before I was able to let someone borrow it and they watched it more than 10 times in week before I asked for it back. They bought their own at allied record. Silver linings is another favorite !!!! I have lived a piece of every part of all these women have played, I can relate to all these movies from he female prospectives.
