I hadn't watched the X-Games since the 90's and I miss those old ones where they were still in the earlier stages still testing the waters. I just miss the 90's, who am I kidding.

I'm 28 now and still remember the times when here in Finland it was so hard to see early xgames. But I remember that I instantly became a fan of those two. Watched them compete all xgames and other big comps even though I don't even own a bike. They are so iconic dudes

First time I ever experienced what a X games was, I had just moved cut on the tv like wtf is this. It was the golden era of X games in my opinion at the time. Dave Mira took to the ramp and did some Amazing things that had me hooked on X games ever since. I was 18 at the time pushing 39 this month. In closing thank you Dave Mira for all the unbelievable greatest moments to witness ever. May you ride a glide in the heavens!
Incredible the stuff they are doing these days on BMX bikes lol when i was a kid it was so much different 30 years ago. So fun to watch these guys constantly pushing the sport forward.
Dave lived in my hometown (Greenville, NC) and me and my friends use to fish behind his house all the time at the pond. He was always cool and never cared that we fish there. So sad that he's gone! He was an icon to the sport and gvegas!
He earned that win man. That was awesome!!!

That was awesome! Love Logan Martin's work. Back in the 90's I had a Haro invert and later as I got better I brought a Haro Master. But these kids today blow my mind, they've pushed the sport to another level🙌😲

Too bad everyone turned they're backs on Dave because he wasn't competing in bmx or x games anymore and completely ignored his cries for help from him and from his wife when she started noticing he wasn't the same anymore from the cte he had which ultimately led to him committing suicide sadly rip dave
Mirra was posthumously diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). In addition to the "countless" concussions he suffered during his career, his skull was fractured when he was hit by a car at 19 years old and he took up boxing after retirement. He became the first action sports star to be diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease.
Dave was murdered. Research TED GUNDERSON and figure out whats really going on in society. All our leaders/heros/trend setters get MURDERED, or are forced to sell their souls. It must be exposed/stopped, people are dying left n right now and NO ONE is being held accountable at all because theyre all ruled Suicides or natural causes... im so sick and tired of it.

I’d like to see Eddie rock up and just do the moonwalk around there and win ;-) I have issue with getting old and appreciating new generations but people like Logan, Terry, Matthias are just breaking so much new ground! Amazing stuff and I hope that in another hundred - or 500 years, BMX is still a thing!

Man I skate vert I remember the first time I got skateboarder mag,there was this picture of some guy in a pool some where in Cali...3 feet out off the coping and I said look at this dog,sick...that was 1976 ish,don't know who it was but I alway wanted a motocross bike,but skated vert instead,it a little harder doing stuff on a motocross bike,but I still get pumped watch BMX street and vert they have a speed and with that amplitude.thanks kudos to the dude landed fakie and nailed finally that so hard on a bike to hold your bars steady while landing and going backwards,awsum THANKS

I thought it was really sweet to see the little girls give the gold metal, I think that should be a standard. Here you have this athlete who is bruised and bloody and gnarly ... then all that vanishes in the softness of the girl presenting the award. Seems like good luck.
