Perazza was about the only one in this that was interesting to watch imo. All the other guys are super talented but BMX has always been about expression over ability for me.
That being said, that double backflip transfer was nuts.

Totally agree. It was refreshing to see someone do some tricks other than a tailwhip or barspin or flair. That's all a lot of BMX has become now, sadly. I loved seeing a superman seatgrab, and a 360 can, an over ice on the coping. Definitely nice to see some creativity that extends beyond "I wonder if I can do 4 tailwhips instead of 3"

It's really amazing how fast the sport progresses....Ryan nyquist in the competition and can't keep up with what these other guys are pulling.

well I think other riders managed to squeeze in more tricks. Also, barspin, no handed and tailwhip flips seem to be more challenging to do than the 1 1/2 backflip (!). His1080 though... not many people in the world can do that.

No disrespect to Nick Bruce maybe I just didn't see his whole run but how the heck did anyone beat Logan Martin or Brian Fox's runs? Wtf?

a lot of big air tricks for park. should be judged more on "how PARK was that run?" did he toothpick anything? any lip tricks? or did he just go blast a ton of dirt tricks in the park? which is still awesome, but its not park
