By far the raddest best trick contest that I've seen in a long time! So hyped to see how big of a crowd there was too, especially after the lack of attendance in Chiba at XGames... You can tell it definitely amped the riders up to another level!!
You weren't allowed to go to Chiba that was just riders and friends and staff x games hasn't had attendance since COVID

Wow I’m really surprised the twister won. Everyone rode so good and there was at least a handful of bangers I think should’ve beat that. First and foremost is Kevin’s massive flair fakie.
The 180 double bar to tuck down the step up, the flip double whip to tuck, anything Daniel did, and Kevin’s flair over the box is more impressive than a 1080.
That flair over the box was insanely good.

I agree with this except for it wasn't just a 1080. In fmb they call it a twister and it's a 1080 cash roll. Still should have probably not taken gold, but I can't imagine how hard it was to judge this comp.

that was some old school Van Homan type shit, i love to see it. idk how they even judge kevin anymore, he has like 4 you could easily argue were his best tricks. FISE was awesome this year.

How do you judge this!? So many absolutely insane bangers. 360 twix to bar!? Flip double whip to tuck over basically a spine... 180 double bar tuck down a massive step-down... non-stop insanity. Over-all winner I'd give to Peraza because he had so much entertainment and so many amazing little lines, but as far as absolute best trick... hard to choose.
you could tell he was really vibing, he even hit that grind just for fun.

Hard to judge here, even the tire tap was badass. I still feel like sandoval's double decade should have won. He's pretty much the only one who does that.
People do do that though. KP’s is unmatched.

dam! daniel sandoval is getting majorly disrespected out here,
first by r willy at x games who got it not cause he did a better or harder trick but cause hes more popular and now by peraza with his 4th or 5th year doing the same landing to fakie tony hawks pro skater combos hes been doing previous years. while daniel finally got the double decade he hasn't landed previously.
This really needed better camera angles.
I have no idea how Kevin Perazza made the podium. There were so many better tricks than the same thing he has been doing for many years. Hell a 720 triple barspin didnt even make the podium. WTF.
Crazy hard to choose podium with this line-up of insane tricks. Honestly probably just goes to personal preference. Peraza sent maybe the largest flair to fakie ever done in bmx history, absolutely worthy of podium. But... loads of these tricks were also worthy. Everyone essentially at the same level of amazing riding here.

@@ianhawkbmx i guess the way I see it is how long it would take you to learn the trick. I feel something like a 720 triple barspin is a much more difficult trick to learn. I'm sure the box looks way gnarlier in real life. I guess it's just strange seeing a flair almost win this with so many crazy tricks I have never seen.
@Darkstar001 I agree to that. There were so many insane tricks no doubt. But the difficulty of landing backwards on such a massive jumpbox alone is insane. Doing a flair OVER that is something else. He did history yesterday. The twister won because it has never been done before. But if he didn't made that the flair should have won 100 % 😄
