@@sherrilee230 Yes, you can sharpen Saker chainsaw chains with a Saker Chainsaw Sharpener. The Saker Chainsaw Sharpener is made of advanced materials and combines a flat file and a round file into one. There are also extra chains included that I missed seeing in the box. I haven't had to use another chain yet and I've used it a few times this season...
I love mine too!! So funny how you ended with Ryan saying he wanted one too and you saying this one was yours…that’s exactly what my husband said! I told him it was my lady saw, well he now has his own!
😜Yes yes!! That's exactly what I think! I can't start a regular chainsaw but I do want to try and trim things up here and there. I LOVE these saws! I haven't been able to find a negative aspect yet and so we really did an authentic review of this saw. A 'lady saw' - - I saw the pink one afterwards and while I would typically go for that kind of thing, Ryan calls my tools, 💚'Fisher Price' tools so I think it's best that I stick with the teal of this saw. Thank you for watching!! We love your comments!
For me, it's wonderful because I can't use the large ones that you have to pull to start. This has given me the ability to saw little things that I need to around the property without bothering Ryan.
Great review :) I love my Mini handy for so many things 👍, I was watching Ryan cut towards his could of been an Ouch 6:52 ! Work safe guy's fighting over a saw can be dangerous !
He's got to be safe with his tools and his body... eeeek! That was actually before the 'big fall' happened, I think he's learning his lessons little by little - hoping we won't ever see that again. 💚
❤The Saker saw is awesome. Love that it is lightweight! If you two adventurer’s decide to change your lifestyles again, y’all would be great at commercials!! Or you could be another Captain and Tennille! You may not be old enough to remember them. 😂😂
😂 That's sweet of you to say. When we are on our island, it just feels like we've arrived at the spot we belong! We do have fun and it's funny because we have another 6 or 7 reviews we have to have done but are just sooo lacking for time. We'll get them done - one way or another. Hugs to you Vikki! Thank you for your kind support!
Hello My Wild Holm friends Ryan and Melodi from y'all's friend a Cajun from Louisiana.Thats a nice Christmas present you got that little chain saw seems to be working pretty good. How's Opal doing I like him.
Hello there our Cajun Louisiana friend! This is a great little saw to have for the little things that I can do when Ryan isn't available. It gives me the freedom to take the little tasks on safely.
Thank you so much Heather! I am so sorry to hear of your friend's Dad. He will be in our thoughts and prayers - soo much pain and heartache out there. We are so sorry. 🙏
@@mywildholm my friend's dad passed away yesterday. My parents are helping me through this. I'm really sad, my friend and his family doing ok& really sad, we need prayers.
Thank you so much! It really surprised me - the power of that little saw but also the ability to cut down small trees and those posts on the array. It sawed right through them!
Safety tip. I'm sure others have suggested this to you. For Melody. Tie your hair back when working with power tools. We don't want to see anything bad happen to you. Stay safe. Can't wait for next season.
Welcome to our channel Danny! Ohhh wow! That is the best tip - I'll be sure to remember that from now on! Phew... what was I thinking?! Thank you so much for watching! 💚
You guys making commercials now from Sponsors, Great, it did a great job of cutting, and plaining of those posts, you did basically unalive those trees so you might as well cut them Completely down, I watched this video last night, then I saw a thumbnail advertisement for your saw so I watched it again, I have a great adjustable pole chain saw that I use and love, 12" It's So great and empowering as A woman to get power tools
Thank you for your comments. Those trees are still very healthy and producing tons of foliage - we will have to keep trimming them each season as they have already grown up over the past year since filming that review. We won't be cutting them down, just trimming them so they can continue to thrive.
It really is very nifty! 😉 It just made it soo easy for me to use... nothing to pull - I think it's a great idea for the ladies especially. I have a hard time pulling those cords on machines.
Welcome to our channel! Thank you so much for your comment. 💚 I do all the driving - right across Canada and now, every single trip we take anywhere. I hauled the trailer loaded with auction items, then the barge on the trailer, the fifth wheel, Pepper and the excavator on the trailer over numerous trips. I also operate the excavator, helped to paint the barge, do all the filming, editing, and am the official 'go-fer'. I chopped through the ice just to get the boat back through the lake. That was a hard day 😆 I get Ryan the tools he needs, help load and unload the barge and truck and more... the problem is that I do have a bad back and unfortunately, I have 'overdone it' a few times. I try to manage it all in whatever way I can. I also stayed at the island alone for 11 days, cutting wood, hauling stuff etc., all the while I quite sick with a bad flu that i couldn't tell anyone but my kids (and eventually Ryan) about. He was in the hospital and my flu was nothing compared to his horrific experience. I must admit... it's been a challenge this year but we are so blessed and cannot wait for each and every moment we have at our precious island. Thank you so much for watching! 😆 🤣
Welcome to our channel! Thank you so much!! We could definitely use an electric pole saw! GOOD IDEA! We'll take a look at one... Always up for a new way to trim our trees around the solar array💚 Thank you for watching!
It was really quite good... not going full-on, it lasts well over an hour. When it is constantly being used, it's more between 30-40 minutes. Such a nice, compact saw!
I bought the same saw. It is a toy not a tool. Mine won’t even cut through a 1” branch without over heating and shutting down. It then needs to cool off for 6-7 minutes. saker was not interested in making it right… Yours works better than mine.. don’t forget to lube that chain……
Perhaps in your reviews you could add the technical data too. Voltage, wattage, runtime, whether it has overcharge protection. Does the 6" have more power than the 4" or is it just a 4" with a longer bar and chain. Dont be afraid to tell us what you didn't like about it if there was anything. It does us no service if you don't tell us honestly what its all about. If you dont that just makes you look like a shill to that company and that's not fair to us. It looks like a great little addition to a pruner like me. I don't have much to prune on the houseboat but I used to go out in my yard to snip a few long branches and 5 hours later I was still going. 😂 But these look handy for trimming the willows and to take along while picking blackberries. I hate blackberry bushes but love the fruit.😅
I totally get where you are coming from but the TRUTH of it is that I just loved this saw so much. The first one they gave us was the 4" and I was actually just thrilled wtih that one too. We weren't doing a comparison between the two of them and maybe we should have... It really is a great addition to a full-on pruner. We will definitely truthfully tell our subscribers about whether we like what we review but I couldn't find one issue with this saw. We have seen a couple of negative reviews but ours was in perfect working condition and still is. In order to be authentic, we had to give our own demo experience. We aren't pro 'reviewers' - just trying the saws out and then letting you know if we like it or not. We have been asked to review quite a few products and we are finally getting around to filming and posting them in the coming weeks. Thank you for watching! We always appreciate your comments.
@mywildholm I'm not suggesting you bash them. Just things like wish it was like this or that. The big thing is the tech. Wattage, volts, Amp hours. Is it a brushless motor. And these companies learn a lot from the feedback from reviews so they can improve and make better products. That's why they give it to reviewers. And trust me, they watch your reviews. That's how they learnt about you.
Oh yes for sure! We have so many more reviews we have to do and we just ran out of time. We'll start up again and get all that intel - such an important part of it all. Thank you for your support and for watching! 🌟
So, they're afraid "IF" and doing a disservice "IF" and being dishonest "IF" and they look like shills "IF" and it's not fair "IF"...they did any of those things? WOW!

😉He's got lots and lots of tools! I like having these little tiny ones that aren't cord pullers... he's not as gentle and kind with his tools as I am so I worry about them... 🌟
That's awesome! We did the 4" review too. We LOVE it. Use it all the time! Excited to see a 6" model! 2 batteries will be so handy! ✌️🇨🇦♥️
I would like to know if you can sharpen the chain or if the bar gets bent you can replace it
@@sherrilee230 I would think any chain can be sharpened. Although it would take a smaller file than a larger chainsaw.
