Hey Michael, can you believe this? 🤷🏼♀️ I wish you were here to read all the things they thought you were - not at all like my goofy mate from way back then, hurts when I see you mate, because it reminds me that those two 16 year olds who pretty much thought they'd never grow old or die were wrong, I grew old and you died, still friends always and forever, say hi to Tez for me up in rock n roll heaven - you boys better be waiting for me at the end of this earthly gig, miss you both ❤️
Thank you, Alison. I admit, being of a similar vintage, I wasn't quite sure how Wolfhunterz would react when I requested this song. It just proves that quality is eternal. I've had the privilege to work with and help a lot of local bands and musicians in my regional area (mostly in art/website/video area), with only one band making a small dent on the Australian charts, but every one of them loved music and loved life. I'm glad your friend made his mark. And I'm glad I, a total stranger, got to go along for the ride and enjoy it so much. It wasn't just this night. I saw them in Phoenix that year, same show, the only concert I can remember where everyone was on their feet and dancing the entire time, so much energy from start to finish.
AMEN!! I watch this concert all the time. I never get tired of it either. These guys were SO in sync....
NOTHING LIKE LIVE CONCERTS BACK THEN! IT WAS THE BEST OF TIMES.
Dei here... We've just come out of a months long lockdown this week... This is most definitely what I needed... I think this reaction tops all of the overs I've previously requested. Wonderful. You both nailed it. Such a great song. Such a great band, Such a great concert. This is part 1 of a pair, and I'm sure part 2 will blow your mind. Thanks. :)
Miss Michael so much.
Thanks for requesting this gem of a performance!
@@jemxs I actually thought this would get blocked as I haven't seen any other reaction to this (doesn't mean there isn't one out there), and it makes no sense to me why no one else has looked at this. It's almost as if people have forgotten this concert ever happened. Seeing this reaction and the Crowded House one has really made my week. :)
Oh you're the other guy that requests INXS. Don't worry, i've had a few people react to this (and others from this concert), you're not alone.
@@TrojBlu oh there is quite a few that do requests for INXS. There is one reactor that has fallen in love with anything INXS and has done almost the whole show! Along with entire KICK and X albums. And as Kane has said he has been requesting a lot that get through. I've seen your name requesting heaps on this channel I think Powderfinger and Midnight Oil. So thanks for keeping Aussie music alive!
@@jemxs I may have requested the odd Powderfinger, Midnight Oil, Spiderbait, Split Enz, Birds of Tokyo, Divinyls, Tommy Emmanuel, Silverchair or Cold Chisel song in the past... I do like how Travis, Suzi and Jon actually know what they're talking about when they listen to music, and it's a great way to share the goodness and not let it be forgotten. :)
I was able to see INXS live twice in the 80's.... they are awesome live, Michael Hutchins is amazing; flawless, fun and exciting performances..... So Sad that Michael is no longer with us.... RIP
Everything from this concert is GREAT!
Su música es fantástica!!. Quedará para la prosperidad !!
Saw them back in the 90s in Detroit. Public Image Limited opened for them. It was an amazing concert.
Legendary Aussie band.🇦🇺😎👍
Knew they were going to be huge when I purchased their debut LP in 1980!!?... That's VINYL for those playing along at home.
And man,did they MAKE it !!!
Yep.I bought that particular vinyl at college. That’s year 11 for the folks over the pond.
He's one of Australia's best.
Went to see INXS open for the Go Go’s and went to the Copa in Fort Lauderdale and both groups showed up and the owners locked the doors at 4am and we partied till about 10am. They are as fun as they seem!
One of the best BANDS IN THE WORLD! AUSSIES ROCK !
Yeah A hard day at work for you here ..... LOL. Please do Good Times INXS with Jimmy Barnes. The video version is wild.
Watch live version of INXS at Wembley Stadium, New Sensation. You have never seen an audience react like that, guarantee!
Never tear us apart - live wembley 😍
I see you enjoy ramped up fun! I see the smiles and the seat dancing INXS moves! They were the get up on the dance floor music. But wait until you hear the ballads. INXS Music Channel on RUclips recently posted all the live Wembley videos! P.s. the guys are not only fun they're HOT. 💥
I love seeing our Aussie music showcased and appreciated. INXS were a really top band, with the beautiful Michael..R.I.P.
Hell yeah I saw them twice in the 80s and they tore it up bad ass shows both times
BEST. CONCERT. EVER.
Hey Michael, can you believe this? 🤷🏼♀️
I wish you were here to read all the things they thought you were - not at all like my goofy mate from way back then, hurts when I see you mate, because it reminds me that those two 16 year olds who pretty much thought they'd never grow old or die were wrong, I grew old and you died, still friends always and forever, say hi to Tez for me up in rock n roll heaven - you boys better be waiting for me at the end of this earthly gig, miss you both ❤️
That was sweet and made me tear up😥 RIP Michael
Thank you, Alison. I admit, being of a similar vintage, I wasn't quite sure how Wolfhunterz would react when I requested this song. It just proves that quality is eternal. I've had the privilege to work with and help a lot of local bands and musicians in my regional area (mostly in art/website/video area), with only one band making a small dent on the Australian charts, but every one of them loved music and loved life. I'm glad your friend made his mark. And I'm glad I, a total stranger, got to go along for the ride and enjoy it so much. I'd love nothing more than see a new generation rediscover their music and their voice.
INXS spent over one million $ recording this live…..will always be a great snapshot of them at their peak !
The DVD of this show is sublime
Love me some INXS!!
DAMN I LOVE AUSSIE MUSIC!!!!!!!!
Woooahz this is awesome can we have more of this band please I’ve never heard anyone like this or this good live apart from that Queen band
They have a youtube page...enjoy✌
Yeah so good! Thanks for the reaction. You loved it! Please do more from this concert. It was a banger!
Thank you for this awesome reaction. I know you get a zillion requests, but please seriously consider checking out "Original Sin" from the same concert. The fellas jamming at full flight!
Didn't think I'd enjoy your reaction to this at first, but that was fun for me! My favorite band since 1987!
Saddest day of my life is when he died. THE most Amazing singer of all time !!
3:22 and 4:54 ONE look at Michael Hutchence (the singer) there and you can understand when women get all "hot and flustered" - calling him "Sex on two legs"
INXS is good stuff,,,,I'm a classic rock and roller and I love these guys.
Devil Inside and Suicide Blonde,,,🔥🔥🔥👍😎
How can you not have heard of INXS
I am in a very humble position to have been a friend of Michael having designed their last 8 album, cd covers, he was a true gentleman and I still miss him now, I just wish that the music business would acknowledge him
Nostalgic Tears from my eyes
Michael Hutchence was one of the last great live entertainers, performers like him are a rarity these days.
The only other person I could liken him to when it came to being on stage would have to be Freddy Mercury.
Totally agree! I was thinking of Freddie too!
I saw them at a relatively small venue in Fl. In the same general time frame. Michael Hutcence was mesmerizing. He reminded me a bit of Jim Morrison that way. I didn't watch the band, I watched him. I say here, the band was great, but he was definitely the main event.
I only got to see them once in the late 80s despite being a fan for nearly a decade prior.
As a 10 yr old who randomly bought “Underneath the Colours” on a whim. Extraordinary the lot of them. Vale Michael. 25 years this year since we lost him but his music and legacy for Australian music will always live on.
this song was their breakthrough single in North America in 86. Their next album took them to the next level (87"s Kick). This performance was on the tour for the follow up album... The one with Suicide Blonde on it. They have so many epic tunes.
INXS, Wembley, 1991…….no pubs had bar staff that night; they were all at this concert!
He's Australian, but he puts on a London accent when he's talking in the middle of the song just for fun, because he's at Wembley
Another great Aussie band.
R.I.P Michael Hutchence 💜
RIP MICHAEL HUTCHENSE
R.I.p Mike Hutchence!
Michael was the best pop rock frontman!!!
