    Also fun fact the lines on them flouresce under black light it helps a lot for sorting them out of their old substrate especially with my panda kings for the really small mancae

    My duckies are finally breeding and doing well! Since I only have them to keep as pets (vs sell) I like having the different morphs in one tank like a gem mix. Makes the enclosure more interesting to look at for me. Your ducky video was SO helpful for my tank!

    Do you have little white fungus spores in your container? I find it really hard to control those but it seems like you're not too worried about them.

    Hi @Aquarimax Pets - Rus, I watched your video about cohabit isopods but I want to get more specific when it comes to cubaris sp
    Questions:
    1. Given there's enough space in the bin with good amount of nutrients, humidity, half dry, half moist - can cubaris sp like Lemon Blue and White Ducky live together? BumbleBee and Cappuccino? Red Panda and Penguin?
    2. Considering the size, will cubaris sp attack other cubaris sp? Or it's only about the food where competition might take place?
    3. Any suggestion of cubaris sp that can live together?
    Not for the purpose of interbreeding or morphing, but want to see if cubaris sp have harmony in the bio-active. Thank you!

    • @Aquarimax
      @Aquarimax  3 месяца назад +1

      @@Bunszoi I haven’t tried any of the combinations you mentioned, but you could experiment a bit. I think with plenty of space and other resources, both would probably thrive for a time, but, as the populations grew, one species would eventually have an edge over the other and slowly crowd it out. That has been what I have seen, but you never know until you try it.

    • @Bunszoi
      @Bunszoi 3 месяца назад +1

      @@Aquarimax thank you for that. As long as no attack happening in cubaris sp, I think they can cohabit. But when time comes that they overcrowded the bin, then time for separation. Thank you, Rus! 😀

    hello! i’m new to keeping isopods and i have a couple questions. I have dwarf whites right now and im wondering what plants i could keep them with, also, would it be possible to house them with another species?

    • @Aquarimax
      @Aquarimax  4 месяца назад +1

      @@f4iry.dust444 They do great with almost any plants! They don’t tend to get along with other isopods in the long run…the others will likely be outcompeted.

    hi rus, i just have a small question about my hoffs. i fed them some dog kibble earlier and a bit of a brawl started between my giant male and one of the larger females. they wrestled over that piece for a while, not leaving even when i put another piece right next to them or even when i nudged the male (he was munching a bit to close to the females antennae). i was just wondering, is this normal? it seemed quite unusual. is there any way i can prevent this in the future? my other females werent overly bothered, just taking some nibbles on the spare pieces but i feel like a brawl shouldnt be erupting over one piece of kibble when there’s plenty
