  • Today I am moving my very tiny and adorable Cubaris sp. into a bigger enclosure. Since I received them a few weeks ago they’ve been in a small deli cup. I wanted to wait until they got the tiniest bit bigger before moving them. Plus, I found the perfect size container at target so why not move them in now!?

    It’s been 2 years, how are they doing, and what do you do to maintain the enclosure?

    This is so cute. I love your channel and I just subscribed and turned on notifications! I wanted to comment on the spider video you posted on how adorable she was and how it made my day, but comments were turned off, so I'm here lol! I'm starting off with isopods so maybe we could do a collab in the future

    Hi, will you be making a video update on them soon?

      I wasn’t planning on it, not much has changed. I have some babies now but they are sooo slow to reproduce. They can take a year to sexually mature so I hope to see more babies soon since it’s been a year since I received them!

    Hello! Did your duckies do well in this setup? Has your colony grown since this video?

    What do u think of using a 12 inch deli cup for these guys I had 5 in a shoe box did not like the idea because I would never find them

    • @Swaneycoop
      @Swaneycoop  3 года назад

      Mine are in a container maybe half the size of a shoebox and I still can’t find them lol. I think a container smaller than a shoebox is absolutely fine while you have so few.

      Doing ok, they have had some babies but they reproduce ridiculously slow lol. I still haven’t had to move them into a larger enclosure because they just don’t grow fast enough.

      Hey, this was just a Tupperware container from target. I drilled holes into the sides for ventilation. Super easy.

      @@suprasmash5417 brand is made by design. I couldn’t tell you the exact measurements. I bought this so long ago. Maybe 8-9 inches by 4 inches?

      I have actually been giving them different leaves now. Things more leathery and they enjoy them as well!
