I went from watching your LA Riots video to this. Both videos are masterpieces for different reasons! And your line "he gets recognized by Franicis" was brilliant! I hope more people got that reference. Great job as usual!
My brother and I saw this movie in the theatre when it first came out. He and I and everyone in the theatre laughed out asses off through the entire film. And I totally agree, Leslie Nielsen was a comedic genius! Anyone who doesn't think so needs their heads checked!
Memories !! I like that part of town where 1st/2nd and Beverly all join. I remember back in the 80s when you could still see what was a tunnel going back to the Red Car days !!
I can’t believe you drove all the way down for that shot either! That’s dedication of I’ve ever seen it. Even outside of commute, that had to take you a few hours one way.
About 24 years ago I was on a trip to San Diego and drove past the power plant. I immediately thought of that scene and said to myself “everywhere I look, something reminds me of her.”
I love this movie. My brothers and I went see it at least ten times at the theatre.Thats how much we loved this movie.I was 8 at the time.Other spoofs that I like and maybe you can do the filming locations for or already did them are I'm Gonna Git You Sucka!!!and Don't be menace...Love your work bro. Also I was in Van Nuys today and I cruised by the Calvert studios where 90210 was filmed.
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT CONTENT! But please don't leave us hanging so long (I'm pretty sure it was a lot of work) many people are addicted to the trilogy!! ;)
All your videos make me miss home in La Habra. Now, I spend my days in the Oklahoma Panhandle. BUT, your videos always make me smile. If you want a suggestion.. Heres a pure LA idea.. Its not a movie but ever thought about the filming locations to Randy Newmans "I Love LA" video? Keep up the great vids!
The Naked Gun is probably the most important spoof of all time. I think it thoroughly deserves a place in the Library of Congress National Film Registry. I think it helped introduce the Film Noir detective to a new generation (albeit in a very funny way...) So great to see all the locations!! Thanks for the video!
Absolutely fantastic, you get half and half here. Half locations are still here and half have either gone or changed completely. Love this film, seen it more times I can remember. I enjoyed this very very much. Can't wait for the next one Kurt 😉
Have you ever done a location find on the movie Vacation? If not, that would be a good one. Like where Clark was eating the sandwich in the park watching Christi Brinkley. I’m new to your channel and a m enjoying it.
Thank You 🙏 so much for showing us these Movie Locations. You are my favorite You Tuber when it comes to Movie Locations. I appreciate all your time & hard work making this video & all the awesome other ones you showed us! Have a great day 😊!!!!!!
Great video. I think Leslie Nielsen is great too. I don’t know if he’s a comic genius though lol. I think he’s so incredibly funny simply because he plays these comedic characters completely straight. That’s his secret imo. He just plays funny characters very serious.
Thanks so much for sharing this. This is one of my fave comedies. Just curious if you plan on doing the filming locations of Robert Altman's "The Player"?
I've been swimming in raw sewage......I LOVE IT!!! great video. I love The Naked Gun and I agree with you 100 percent Leslie Nielsen is/was a comedic genius. Thank you so much for sharing this footage and have a great day. GO FOR IT STEPHANIE!! SA with a concrete dil** 😂
No one did spood comedies like Leslie Nielsen. Wrongfully Accused is my favorite from him. Naked Gun and Spy Hard are also great. And Dracula: Dead and Loving It
Talk about efficient work by the location scouts for this movie in choosing areas within close proximity to one another. Dodger Stadium, 4th and 6th street bridge areas of Little Tokyo/DTLA, LADWP Boylston yard, City of L.A. Personnel Department, City Hall, the Miracle Mile (where the Ambassador used to be) are all within a 5 mile radius. I just wished you had shown the clip of Drebin doing the moon walk and pin/knee-drop while impersonating the umpire. 🙂
even when I was a kid I noticed the re-watch ability of these movies because there is a bunch of odd ball stuff that goes on in the background you know back when actually had to rewind the tape and when you paused it had that tracking line floating around 😉
The Jumbotron seen in the film is a special effect, they just copied the big scoreboard and matted the video image and stands in front of it. Dodger Stadium never had a big Jumbotron like that over the stands. Funny enough, the Big A did, and it collapsed during the Northridge quake in 94. The marching band is the USC marching band, so possible they shot that somewhere close to campus, maybe the Coliseum.
LOVE how you said 'Francis' Hahahahaha
Loved this movie. My mom took me to the second movie in the theater. Leslie Nielsen was always entertaining to me.
I went from watching your LA Riots video to this. Both videos are masterpieces for different reasons! And your line "he gets recognized by Franicis" was brilliant! I hope more people got that reference. Great job as usual!
Glendale HAHAHAHA ! The docks alone look hilarious. Thank for driving damn near to San Diego. That’s dedication ! I wish I was a location scout.
Man you got the best movie location videos on RUclips. Thank you.
The Naked Gun movie series was a great starter pack for the 90s
My brother and I saw this movie in the theatre when it first came out. He and I and everyone in the theatre laughed out asses off through the entire film. And I totally agree, Leslie Nielsen was a comedic genius! Anyone who doesn't think so needs their heads checked!

You and your videos are an L.A. historic landmark!
Such funny ass movies back when comedy movies were good. I still watch Naked gun so good 👍
😂 totally love how you snuck in Francis as the one who identifies Enrique Pallazzo.
Brilliant work sir. 14:16

Great video. Great movie. Nice work Kurt Crucial!
Frank constantly running into people with his car and knocking them over is one of the best running gags in movie history
Kudos to you for driving to San Onofre. I know how far that is.
@80sLife you are half right. Leslie Nielsen is a comedic genius and a genius as a Heavy.
One of my favorite films. I own it and watch it monthly
You honestly produce the most entertaining "filmed here" videos on the internet. Thanks for what you do!
It’s names like “Mr Pahpshir” that make the Naked Gun movies comedy gold
Another great vid. Los Angeles has changed so much since filming.
That was great ... as always 👍
Always look forward to your filming locations, Kind Sir! 🤘 I appreciate you driving to the nuclear plant locations. 😉
I saw this opening day in theatres.I was in tears throughout the whole movie. So was my grandma (I was a kid at the time)!!
This movie was hilarious. I haven’t seen it in ages but these clips have me cracking up
This is a great channel that should have way more views. Also, the naked gun is the best comedy ever made

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT CONTENT!
But please don't leave us hanging so long (I'm pretty sure it was a lot of work) many people are addicted to the trilogy!! ;)
Back in a better time. Thank you for all your hard work in making these videos.
This movie is 34 years old. Lots of actors have passed away in this movie. Rest in peace to all of them.
I appreciate the way you explain your videos.
congrats on 35K - well deserved!!
Thank you, you just made my morning brighter 😘

Great stuff Kurt!! Classic movie pretty much anything from the Zucker Brothers is awesome
2:03 I pass this twice a year and always tell my wife the same corny joke from the movie lol.
I don' think it would be possible not to 😂😂
Thanks for all the effort to do this
Superfun vid as always Kurt....! Thanks so much for your work 😎
Best thing I've seen all day!
Absolutely fantastic, you get half and half here. Half locations are still here and half have either gone or changed completely. Love this film, seen it more times I can remember. I enjoyed this very very much. Can't wait for the next one Kurt 😉

Great video. I think Leslie Nielsen is great too. I don’t know if he’s a comic genius though lol. I think he’s so incredibly funny simply because he plays these comedic characters completely straight. That’s his secret imo. He just plays funny characters very serious.
Has he done “Into the Night” yet? I don’t see it on his list. Another great 80’s movie completely based in LA.
Thank you for all your hard work sir. Another great video as always
Great work my man!
Thanks so much for sharing this. This is one of my fave comedies. Just curious if you plan on doing the filming locations of Robert Altman's "The Player"?
Kurt just watched the LA classic "Ruthless People". There is a free filming location vid idea for you. : )

Great job as always, I have a suggestion on what you're next move location can be, the movie Drive with Ryan Gosling.
I love the video of Ludwig dragging Jane up the stadium. It's so violent and obviously a woman doll and not a person. lol, so good.
I know its not an 80's film but if you could do Michael Mann's Collateral, I would really appreciate it. On my top 10 all time favorite movies.
Cool man loved it
Anorher favorite movie of mine. Thank you
You should do a location video from the movie “The Last Boy Scout”. It was filmed in LA in the early 90’s.
Fantastic job...
Enrico Palazzo, RIP
You should do a Valley Relics museum video. I'm sure they'd welcome you with open arms. Check it out.
Good job Kurt!!!
Hey nice beaver. Boy, that Nordberg sure seemed to be a good guy. I wonder what ever happened to him?
"....the guy transporting the missile" LOL
Lol yeah that’s a drive just for the power plants.I used to love going to San Diego with my wife.
Nice beaver.
"I....must..
....kill....the....Queen."

That's crazy how HOLLYWOOD can make a building scene look like it was shoot in different country
good video
2:07 and we appreciate it and you!
How do you find theses places?
This is the best one, out of all of them. I didn't like the second sequel, but the third sequel is good.
Cigarette? Yes I know...
Please do Demolition Man!
Super thx
Speaking of spoofs: can you do a video of the filming locations for Space Balls?
Can you do fright night ( not the remake) locations please
~ "Cigarette??....
