When you're going to a casting, local clients usually ask you to show some special type of poses which will suit their brand of clothing, accessories, will fit the concept of a photoshoot and etc.There are several types of poses which are the most common and popular in Asian market.
In this video fashion photographer Tatiana Kurnosova talks with lovely young model Liz @ Allez Model Management who's kindly sharing the list of typically required poses, describes each of them and showing us the example of posing.

U shouldn’t rly have to though that’s their job not ours. Unless u have a specific pose u want u can tell them but u shouldn’t have to guide them the whole way.

Пожалуйста 😊☀️ Я рада, что вам было интересно! На самом деле, многие из этих поз используются, в большинстве случаев, только на Азиатском рынке, поэтому не обязательно о них знать и как-то делить на категории. В зависимости от вида съемки, все делается на интуитивном уровне. Удачи вам! 💓

Чем отличается каталог от лукбука?
Каталог, в первую очередь, ориентирован на продажу одежды. Чаще всего, это одежда массового производства. Как правило, характеризуется большим объемом работы, может доходить до 200 - 300 луков, + простой фон, часто отсутствие ярко-выраженной концепции съемки, т.к. главная цель, - показать весь ассортимент.
Лукбук ориентирован, в первую очередь, на презентацию одежды. Здесь могут быть, как маленькие дизайнерские коллекции, так и более объемные, при этом, кроме цели показать одежду, может быть ярко-выраженная концепция съемки, менее стандартные позы ( зависит от страны и особенностей местного маркета, пожеланий бренда и пр. ), разный фон и т.п.

Как можно запомнить или систематизировать это?
Это совсем не сложно, ведь определенные позы нужны для определенных съемок + вы следуете интуиции :)
dear models don't do poses that covers upper half of ur bodies(hands crossing) way too much for catalogs, it pisses the hell out of photographers :) we trying to sell those tops not ur hands. peace.
Most of the models understand it :) I think only the ones who's just started their career and have no experience do that.
