Are you sure you weren't given a vacuum and was told it was a "microbe scanner"? 😂
38:25 If this mechanic is similar to Stardew Valley's (like a lot of this game's other mechanics) you'd be able to give two gifts per week.

Matt, could you share when you hear about updates & what not. I believe the game is in early access so any news of the same is welcome.

If there's an update between episodes, I can put a link to the patch notes into the description as well as probably mention it at the beginning of the video. I went ahead and put a link to the most recent patch notes in this video's description.

How often are you planning to put new episodes out ??

I'm trying for every three days. So it will be Seablip, then Little-Known Galaxy, then one of my other series, then repeat. As long as my IRL schedule allows.

They really messed up by including QTE. I loathed it in 2012, and the AAA gaming industry already acknowledged it for the mistake it was, beginning to entirely shift away from it starting ten years ago, yet here we go seeing it implemented in a fresh game.
Everyone with any kind of motor coordination issue (or simply just age, fatigue...) resulting in a subpar reaction time of 270+ milliseconds (which is like a third of all people, look it up) is being given the middle finger...

There's a setting in the options to turn the microbe minigame off. You still use the detector to search for microbes, but when you find one, it just auto-captures it.

@@deepspacematt3333 When you have to have an on/off switch (which by the way was implemented more recently, there was no such option on release) for something like a minigame, then the design decision to include it the first place was misguided.
If you know that there will be people who prefer not to have it, you should have opted for a system that does not require you to have a "hard pass" setting.
Is there a setting to skip watering plants? No, because it's not needed. To automatically plant plots? No, not needed. See what I'm getting at?
