I wouldn't recommend it with a slam ball, not just for your flooring but for your neighbours' sanity. However, you could either find a space anywhere - literally anywhere - on the ground floor or outside. Alternatively, try a GRIPR... Light balls for speed and power 3-10 lbs... heavier for strength and power 15-20+ ..the heavier ya go the more towards strength and power you go the lighter the ball the more speed and power you gain..

I completely agree most fitness channels are doing all the same. Picking a heavy ball with their backs and not bending the legs. Lifting heavier than actual strength. They get more tired and get even more shitter. All I can say is good luck with your back in twenty years time.
