Crowbar was an excellent choice by Ryan not only a great weapon but literally any door or food can can be opened quickly and can be used to break apart pallets for fire wood.
I have a 2 foot long crowbar like that in the back of my 4wd. It is the most used tool when I go camping - digging, breaking firewood, moving hot pots, hammering tent pegs, everything. It is indestructible.

@@ajcook7777 I'm not a Seal but army infantry and I hate being wet because doing movements carrying wet gear is miserable. Plus all the stuff you have to do after you get wet (dry your boots, change socks, etc.) you start thinking about right after it happens.

You are speculating that SEALS would hate becoming wet and cold because of PTSD type symptoms? That their experiences with being wet and cold triggers them into thinking it is worse than it really is? And that civilians would handle the situation better since they do not suffer from the PTSD type symptoms SEALS would have?

Meanwhile off camera, after realizing their favorite flavor crayons are no longer being stocked at Walmart, a couple of us Marines have turned the tarp into make shift skivvies with matching capes and are hard at work trying to figure out how to get a crowbar pregnant.

Vets, Drs, researchers, teachers, etc. The thing about "thanking vets" is more about thanking them for making sacrifices, knowing they watched their friends die, them almost dying, doing things most people are not able to do, leaving their families for long periods of time, etc. Doctors, teachers, etc get to go home at the end of their shift. Vets don't, when deployed. Plus let's not forget the extensive research about the amount of suicides in the vet community, PTSD, depression, possible dismemberment, losing their brothers (and sisters) in battle and all that shit that vets go through.

Edit: I did a little reading about it and bleach is a good stop gap. However, bleach degrades at room temperature 20% each year. This is why Clorox recommends that you cycle your emergency store of bleach every 3 months. After a few years its basically salt water. Stay safe y'all!
Let’s be real; most people will not live for years after a grid down situation that is on par with an “apocalypse.” I would count myself quite fortunate if I managed to sterilize that much water.
Use pool shock powdered bleach.
It's cheap and lasts a long time.

Great lesson here. In quick desperation, Shawn's first instinct was to find a weapon and ability to break into property to steal stuff. We celebrate this as clever, but remember this when watching other RUclips videos. Lots of comments want to quickly label people as "stupid" "evil" or "criminal". Some are, but some are just desperate.
