4:07 - 5:07 maybe my new favorite Aphex minute... reminds me of the artists Wisp and EOD melodically, so beautiful. a shining example of electronic music, a beacon of inspiration for generations to come, etc
So... is this the Barcelona Track now? Waiting to be released with the Houston track? Hope it does like tracks from Manchester, Metz and Copenhagen... Also love how the cameras were focusing this guy on 7:47 losing his fucking mind during the entire time. The visuals from Aphex's shows are one of my favorite things
i was right up the front for this, it felt like my head was being smashed in for the whole set (in a good way), the visual/audio experience is like nothing else and its hard to explain, thats why everyone is glued to their place, it turned us into zombies. it was also 2 in the morning and everyone was fucked haha. this shit fucks you up!
Thanks for upload, Jaysus these lasers would put Pink Floyd's ones from the late eighties and early nineties to shame and man, what a track. Definitely sounds like new Aphex as it has these disembodied female voices that you hear sometimes on various tracks in Syro. :)
I BET you he's had this track for a number of years. Before Syro even. This is definitely a new style tho from him... a more rhythmic drukqs. So I BET it's new. Either way I'm right. If there are other tracks like this one and the one from houston up his sleeve then he's got Syro beat.
5:32 to 7:28 is fucking spooky. My favorite part by far, I hope it's NOT another song mixed in it. It completes the song so well, and this is THE Aphex Twin song for me. Nothing else sounds better than this 9 minute long bliss. I am so fucking hyped for an official release for this.
this is fucking crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!! was this released by now? it just feels like a preview for a new upcioming release, like snippets mixed together, but idk
A kind soul chopped it out of the Jlin mix and uploaded it on dropbox www.dropbox.com/s/blq0fycct2zhm9y/Jlin%20and%20Aphex%20Twin%20-%20Untitled.mp3?dl=0 It sounds more like a RDJ track remixed my Jlin. If that's the case, then the Primavera version is not a collaboration after all.
Interesting ay. Well, the album Expert Knob Twiddlers is him and Mike Paradinas, but that goes as far back as 1996. Universal Indicator (1992-2001) is him and Mike Dred I believe. Other than that I'm not sure of many other collabs. Even then they wouldn't have been recent at all. Jlin is also on Warp though which would have probably been a huge factor in his decision to collab again. It's cool to see him working a bit closer to Warp though as I can only assume he obviously prefers working alone now Rephlex is past.
Jessica Cortez keeps in contact with Rich, and one of his studios is called the Dandelion Spaceship. I would not be suprised in the slightest if she was correct.
I saw a more recent interview where he said he'd actually had a conversation with Thom via e-mail, plus he did perform at the same event as Jonny Greenwood honouring Penderecki!
Proving once and for all that most people are incapable of appreciating true art and are merely driven by the loudest most familiar noise. Note how they all start screaming when an amen they have heard a billion times comes in, yet stand around in silence or talking to eachother when the real genius is taking place in the lead up to that.
Nah man not at all, I was at the London gig and it's all the interplay of the melodies and the visuals, it created a bizarre sense of build up. Also at times similar to this it was very very comfortable and people felt like chatting, it was almost background-y in a weird way. Then he deliberately drops an amen and naturally people lose it, they're having a nice time. Plus it's aphex dropping an amen, sick as fuck init. All part of the journey.
Right... I’m sure Richard D. James HATES the amen break and deliberately places it there to tell who his true fans are and aren’t.... sort of a litmus test for special geniuses like you who comprehend music on the uppermost echelon of sound design. Let me just finish kissing your feet real quick...
Holy shit, after about 30-40 listens, this tune really is the absolute bomb. I like 2017 Aphex, this dude has never stopped improving.

Diggeredoo Pt.2
Got the Field Day version up on my channel. I've lost the source on it being a Jlin track though, do you have it?
A kind soul chopped it out of the Jlin mix and uploaded it on dropbox

Yeah probs. Since when did afx collaborate with other musicians? Lol

Any ideas what this track may be called?
Ah thanks. It sounded great at Primavera!
I bet it's called something like 3PLjmaxx2Tx12 (143caz mix)
top kek
tfw can't even tell if you're joking or not
Jessica Cortez keeps in contact with Rich, and one of his studios is called the Dandelion Spaceship. I would not be suprised in the slightest if she was correct.
this is that one song he's collabing with Death Grips.
EGEEEEEEEEEEEEE
0:40
This must be some kinda colab with Thom Yorke
If only...! I read somewhere long ago that RDJ doesn't care for Radiohead. If they worked together it'd be one for the ages though!
hah
I saw a more recent interview where he said he'd actually had a conversation with Thom via e-mail, plus he did perform at the same event as Jonny Greenwood honouring Penderecki!
JLIN & Aphex Twin Collab - Untitled
Too bad about the potato quality, track seems dope

TheDarkInstall ikr, his genius is wasted on these fools
