    It's a shame they don't disclose the cost of any factory fitted extras for each car as I suspect even the base XC90 will be loaded compared to the competition. The Cayenne with its £18k of options being a prime example, although this comparison might be made for the others in later episodes.

    It’s STUPID to eliminate a PHEV based on driving range unless it’s just ridiculously low. The point of a PHEV is to allow the majority of short trips in EV mode. I feel a lower threshold should have been set based on market research, not just to kick out the lowest model.

    *Why do you constantly have to remove one car after each round?*
    *Just mark them from 1st to 4th and carry on testing! It's THE logical way to do testing!*
    If your tests were done in a different order, then that vehicle that was kicked out in the first round, may actually end up winning.
    Who ever thought up the order can quite easily sway the verdict away from a vehicle they didn't like, in favour of one they do like _(Or even deceptively and dubiously, they've been paid by one manufacturer to make their vehicle appear better than the others! KERCHING! Back pocket and thank you! £££££!)._
    However... If you kept all the vehicles _IN_ all of the tests and had a final verdict, you would end up with a better final verdict.

    • @jackjoyce1744
      @jackjoyce1744 9 месяцев назад +1

      SI in name only. We still do the following
      Distances = miles
      Speed limits = miles
      Height = ft and inches if it’s a person otherwise everything else is in centimetres
      Capacity = pints for alcohol and milk, millilitres for all other liquids, and fuel is in litres
      We measure our fuel consumption in miles per imperial gallon (4.546 litres)
      Temperature = Celsius (some older thermometers may still be in Fahrenheit)
      Walking trails can sometimes be in kilometres and runners normally use kilometres.
