Please, you and Matt keep warm. Give your family hugs. Great coins!
Will do Shari!!!
I’m proud of you grasshopper amazing coins. As granny used to say it’s colder than a well digger in Idaho. I still can’t get out of my driveway for 6 days now. I still have 5 inches of snow outside. Stay safe say hello to your family for me and stay warm.
Aaaah thank you Teacher, well digger in Idaho!, lol, yes. Snow is out there hoping for a warm melting week next week, be well my friend.
Good morning Matt, your definitely dedicated. It paid off 1 2 3 cent coins. Congratulations! The 1920 soda bottles and the doorknob beautiful. Stay warm brothers while your Under the Surface hunting. My best to all the family. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thank you Joyce!!! and good morning to you!, always appreciate you.
Gosh the beach is beautiful when covered in snow. Your still photos are amazing. Thank you and cheers.
Thanks my friend, hope you are staying warm. Cheers!
Good Sunday Morning from Bainbridge Island! Some AWESOME finds in this week's exciting chapter from NJ! The coins (Trifects!! woo hoo!!), the metal bits and bobs - really great. I also LOVED the 1920's pop bottle with all the dots/circles.
It was a great week Elea! Thanks for watching.
You killed it with the coins, and the doorknob is amazing, too. Love the old sodas, as well. Thanks for taking one for the team with the weather:)
Thanks Kathi!
Wonderful detecting I like the 1, 2, and 3 cent bucket list find’s for you! The 1920’s bottles are amazing and the rest of your coins are great too. I enjoyed every minute, but remember it’s not worth getting sick. You really braved the wind and cold weather. Congratulations 🎊🎈🎉 on all of your finds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thanks Susan, we go very well insulated, although when it hits 15 degrees or less, we forfeit the hunt.
2center is awesome!! AND a TRIME!!!..mini shark toss haha... The door knob is pretty nice!!! great hunts! :)
Lol! “Mini Shark Toss!”
Great video Matt! Love all the coins and the door knob! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Kristin!
Amazing finds, 1,2,3 cent coins!! Many dirt fishers I know say that is like winning the lottery! Congrats and God bless.
It was like winning the lottery!!
Hello Matt from your neighbor in Delaware. Outstanding finds this week, a nice reward for braving the elements. A historical low tide? Yes, please!
Hi my Delawarian neighbor, we need more low tides like this one.
Wow! Some really great finds. What a way to start 2024.
For sure! Thanks
That is certainly dedication to get out there in the elements. I never heard of a Trime, that was interesting. Good Matt hunting, where there’s a Will, there’s a way. See you next week.
It was very interesting, at one point we had to leave the water at the chance the wind could push us over in it, video didn’t quite pickup how windy it was.
Good morning Matt! That doorknob is stunning! What a fantastic find…I’m imagining the door it opened!! From Under the Surface you found those beautiful and rare coins that were great to see! Easy-peasy…1,2 & 3!! You have the magic touch!! Stay well and warm out there! ~ Karin
Thanks Karin!, it will be a memorable week for sure.
Oh, I absolutely LOVE that doorknob! One day, I'll walk into a salvage shop and find many sets of them and install them on every door in my house! 😃Have a great week! Your friend from Nawth Jersey, Carolyn
Wasn’t that great!!, I’m with you , I want all my doorknobs like that, then I would have to change the pathetic doors they would be on with some real vintage wood doors.
@@underthesurface4435 😆 I hear you about the "pathetic doors"...
The coins are amazing finds. Congrats on the bucket listers !
Thanks my friend.
I don't usually comment on many of the RUclips uploads I follow, which nearly all are tip/dump larkers. Mostly those from The UK, since even if I'm both a Canadian and US citizen by birth, I've lived over here in northern Scandinavia from my teen years for many years and raised my now adult children here. I do go back across the "pond" regularly and spend a few years before coming/escaping back over here but, for whatever reason, it's mostly the larkers from the UK that I tend to follow. You and your brother are basically the only ones I follow that are from the US. I love watching you guys, and really appreciate your calm voice. I have both CPTSD from early childhood and PTSD from crap that's happened later in life, which results in me mostly avoiding "people". Live way out in the country on my own with my guard dog and cats... Remained out here when the "kids" flew the coop quite a few years ago.
I just wanted you to know that even if I don't interact or comment, very often if at all, I'm here and really appreciate being able to follow along on your "adventures".
Thank you

Solani, I can’t express how much I appreciate the unspoken word and I know very much how powerful it can be when it is spoken. This comment will stick with me forever. Many thanks to you my friend I will never forget your out there. Be well.

I have cptsd and watch these also, its relaxing and the reward for effort is exhilarating! I enjoy others success tho I had little of my own so far. 🙂 However my spouse just got a detector and I have 1, we are goin out to try...
@@juneyshu6197 Yes, I also find his uploads very relaxing, and am very happy when he finds his "treasures". I wish I could afford to buy a detector or, even be able to find a tip/dump over here that I could spend hours upon hours, just loosing myself in the search. But, have yet to even hear about any of these types of dumps over here and getting a permit to be able to metal detect an area (small area) costs around $100.00 and is only valid for 2 yrs. That permit is only good for the location you have applied for. Which is, way out of my budget.
Good morning great finds
Good morning Nilsa and thanks!

Amidst the cold, wind and snow, I'd be out there until the authorities found me, frozen to the ground with a pocket full of wheaties and a grin on my face. Excellent start to the New Year Matt!

That one at 5:39 looks like a lead bag tag. Could have been on anything, but they are most common on mail bags. Great video.

Thanks Rich, if you see a big goofy guy scrambling around looking lost give a shout out!

uwielbiam monety! dzięki przyjacielu, bądź zdrowy
Hi Matt its surreal looking at your snowy beachside with icing on the rocks, today in New South Wales Australia it is 39 degrees celsious. Aircon and fan waving. Interesting finds, I wondered if one of them was part of a ships compass from olden days. Should you "cash in to a collector" your coin collection and what they dont want, you could offer to a museum. After all, you would be able to replace them before too long! Happy New Year.
Hi!!, 39 Celsius wow, wishing for that here, lol, great idea on cashing in , although I find myself having separation anxiety with any finds I part with so I tend to hold onto everything, lol. Happy New Year!
If you look at the Scottish Detectorist, he shows you how to let the wet coin dry and then rub. May help, he has some good coin tips. Thank you guys!
I’ll check it out!, thanks!
