You two are an absolute pleasure to watch! I laugh at your antics every time. So glad you found your beautiful poison bottle Louise . Keep up the good work. Love you two!
You are both so delightful. You seem an unlikely couple to be mucking about in the mud and dirt in an old dump. Fun hobby. Thank you for sharing the fun withbus.
I enjoy watching every dig. Y'all never fail to put a smile on my face! With that being said, please don't be out in the cold. I'd really hate for either of you to become sick just to bring us content. You could always do a favorite finds video, or about things you've learned or found interesting while researching your finds! Just please take care of your health and each other! Love from April in North Carolina
Louise and Ian!!! What an absolutely wonderful outing and the round up was hysterical and historical. I enjoy you two so very much!! Thank you for braving the cold. Here Saturday night, right now is 7* but feels like -6 F. that would be -13* in Celcius.and -21 C. Brrr!! Thank you both for taking me along on your lark. ~Janie~
Lovely video this week and some great finds yet again. Well done Louise on finding a poison, and the GWR button. I think maybe Ian's " bead" maybe came off of a child's toy or maybe a child's high chair as some used to have beads on them.
Just watched you all for the first time. We found Nicola White when COVID hit and have so enjoyed learning so much history from mudlarkers and bottle pickers. You two make us smile! We love your energy and joy of finding treasures. Blessings from across the pond. Linda and Roger
Hello Linda and Robert welcome aboard, so glad you enjoyed it we have a great passion for our hobby. Ahhh yes we got hooked on mudlarking by first seeing Nicola White she is terrific.
Hi larks, missed your live, but love your finds! The little blue bottle that had the screw on top has a eye or ear dropper inside!I found one 30 years ago when this old body could still move! Love your channel!❤
Love those tiny poisons! The marbles were a nice find too. Ian talking about the tiny blue bottle while Louise is crawling on the dirt behind is peak comedy lol 🤣
I missed the live, but this was so fun. You both are always filled with joy and laughter 🤭🤭 Thank you for braving the cold 🥶 weather. Just don’t get sick 😷! Everyone here seems to be battling some illness. Stay warm! Very nice finds I certainly enjoyed every one of them. Have a wonderful weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thank you for braving the cold weather. It's the same or, even colder here in northern Scandinavia. Need to drive to town to do my monthly shopping but, coming up with excuses to why I don't need too... 😳😁 Anywho, thank you for taking us all with you on your adventures! Congrats on the poisons, the cake topper bird and everything else. 👍 I've been binge watching all of your old already seen adventures, along with a few other mud larkers/tip larkers/etc... I've had way to much time on my hands. Well, really not but, I haven't been in the mind frame of wanting to do ANYTHING, other than turn what substitutes as my brain off... 🤯What better way to do it than watch some of my favorite "larkers". Thank you... ❤
Our favorite was the rubbished boat bottom. Lol Just kidding, but we did love the Cough medicine bottle. My wife loved the bird cake topper. Really enjoyed the video... Cheers.
Oh my gosh, Louise! I’m sitting here alone in Tennessee, a 64-year-old grandmother, with two little dogs. They think I’ve absolutely lost my marbles! I can’t stop laughing at you! And your beautiful little bottom❤How fun you two are! Love, TN Nana
Hi Another amazing fun lark. So enjoy your laughter whilst digging 😂😅😊 To think we were on the ferry just before December! Super finds. Love the GWR button being a railway man myself 😊 Great poison bottle finds. Shame about round one, maybe next lark? Thank you both for keeping us entertained 😂 Keep Digging! Dave and Ali Yorkshire 😊
Thanks David hope your both well. We have a great time when out larking and rely enjoy hearing what other people think of our digs thank you so much for a lovely comment.
Louise found a poison! It's not only hard work for you two to dig up a few great finds, but also in the wonderful editing that many people don't realize. Then there is the cleaning and cleaning up after the cleaning! I, for one, appreciate the work that goes into your videos. A friend of mine is red-green color blind and our stoplights are usually red on top, yellow then green at the bottom, some are sideways.😂 You had the best small bottle finds in this video and a button that somehow survived about a century living two separate lives, one of function and many stories it may have heard and one in the quiet peacefulness of the tip awaiting your gentle scraping.
Thank you so much for a wonderful comment. Yes there is a lot of hard work involved but a lot of enjoyment too. It's so lovely when people appreciate what goes into making these video thank you. The cleaning and history is also a great part of larking we both have learnt so much since we started and learning every day.
@@westcountrymudlarks Life just wouldn't be life without learning new things and doing what we enjoy, made even better when we can share our love for what we do here with others.
Great small bottom and giant bead 😀lol. Fab finds both, love the colour of the bottles, stunning blue! Nice button from GWR - I've been on the steam trains along that route a few times. Wonderful to hear the robin singing in the background too.
Great video, Ian and Louise - we can't get enough of seeing those dinky poison bottles. Regarding the Square and Albert egg cup, we're Manchester based and drunk at the Square Albert before it closed, but I'm afraid I don't think it came from there - the buildings in Albert Square are gothic in style, including the awesome Manchester Town Hall, so don't look like the ones on the egg cup. I maybe proved wrong by another viewer but that's just my thoughts. Hope you're both well and we'll look forward to the next one 👍
I think your right about the pub we think it might be the albert gardens in London but still researching could be another country. Glad you enjoyed it . Oh and I forgot again to give you a mention I've got it in my video book now so I will remember, happy hunting.
@@westcountrymudlarks No worries at all, I totally get how much there is to think about when putting these videos together. I'm just finishing off our next episode which will go out tomorrow - it's back to our wild camping/bushcraft roots, but the one after that will be us out mudlarking again at a new dump we've found 😀👍 Thanks and hope you're having a great weekend 🙏

Hello, we do have a small bottle of spray we just forgot it but thank you. As for items we don't put in our collection we put on our ko-fi shop wich the link is in the description. Thank you so much for watching.
A few have slipped through my catch up net ! Has to say still watching and up to the pottery show and had to mention - i was humming that tune as i was painting the walls lol !
Weather not to bad thank you .as for the bead goid idea but still has the metal circle mark around one end so we are going for a drawer knob but who knows
Great finds guys,Louise that might be a world war button.Drops were put in water and steam will clean your bronchials they said.but it did help you to breath.
do you ever find jam jars, i have been looking for some for a long time .i also am looking for the glass bottle stoppers.please let me know . thank you
I think the large bead is from a child’s counting toy. You used to move the beads from left to right to practise counting, if you remember what I mean. They were called Abacus if I remember rightly - that’s my guess 😁
You two are an absolute pleasure to watch! I laugh at your antics every time. So glad you found your beautiful poison bottle Louise . Keep up the good work. Love you two!

good idea about the bead looking find but it still has the mark where the metal end was so we are sure its a drawer pull but thank you
