Good morning Matt! You always keep it real whether it’s your reaction to an awesome coin find from Under the Surface, your sunrise views for us all to be amazed by, the back and forth teasing with Paul and now your Father-Daughter Communication clip! Our teens are consumed by the good and unfortunately sometimes stressful drama in their lives all too often! “This is live action happening right now” is genuine and for some kids truly affects their social and emotional wellness. Caroline appeared to be the “drama” problem solver while still engaged with you! I love how she was listening to your every word of torment/positive distraction but has to know you have her back in difficult times!! She’s an absolute Doll! I think we need to see more father-daughter clips!!! Stay well and warm out there~ Karin

As parents of young adults, we all get used to one sided conversations. My kids are grown up now and those days are passed. Love your videos.

Memories light the corners of my mind 🎼🎹🎼 it’s so much fun watching you and your daughter. She is a beautiful young lady! Your a fun dad, she won’t get that you are a treasure for many years to come. She will however, when she watches it when she’s in her 30s. The things you purchased in Good will was amazing especially the doll! I would have never thought it could be worth so much. Hello my friend. I had two daughters and three boys and thank God they didn’t have phones. The girls I would hear what they had to say and then send them to mom. The boys I would take hunting ,fishing or shooting in the backyard and talk. Note, I’m in Tennessee. Great video stay safe say hello to your family for me if they will communicate with you.

Thanks for another interesting video Matt! When I used to walk the dry river bed sonetimes a huge gravel bar would yield nothing, but the smallest patch of gravel would have something nice.

Aaaah Cathy, this is always my first instinct, but I’ve learned to real in those initial reactions and use more subtle effective ways. I’m blessed with wonderful children and this lil snippet of video was meant for jocularity purposes only, she by no means is as rude as it came off.

No worries Liz, this clip was more satirical than its reality. My daughters communicate with me way better than I ever did with my parents, thanks to my wife. I’m still learning how important it is. That being said there is truth to your statements.
