I love the antler and cross. Your find the most interesting items. I have never seen an antler like that. Fantastic video, thank you Matt. Cheers.
Your very welcome!, yes, I’m still not sure what it is too, I have not seen one like it but I am also no expert. Researching right now while I crash on the couch, lol.
Beautiful train set. Great beach finds👌🏻
Well thank you Brenda!
Good video Good finds, the train is nice.❤
Thanks Jane!!!
Sweet little brass button. Love the trains. Nice boots! Have a good week. S. AZ
Thanks Az!!
Good morning Matt. Glad you got some detecting in before the storm. Cool boots! Hope they work out for you. Nice milk bottle find. I like seeing you bring home those concretions, always interesting to see what treasures are hidden. Your skull marble bottle is almost filled up.👍 Happy weekend! 🎄
Hi Sally , good morning and thanks , happy weekend!
Loved the trains! And your dad’s rendition! Merry Christmas to all your subscribers! 🙏👏
Thanks Jim!!!
Greetings from your neighbor in Delaware! Wow and wow, so many awesome finds this week. Definitely a red cootie body, those coins rock! The cross most likely came off a Catholic rosary. I find them every now and then. My repurposing brain looked at the wood item with the holes and said "Clean it up and display shot glasses on it". Did you keep it? So many things to look at this week. How lucky we here on the east coast are, where ships and people have been passing by since the 1600's. I'm glad you like the new boots. You and your brother are so passionate about treasure hunting, it has been a pleasure watching your videos throughout 2023, thank you! Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year! 🎉
Hi Leslie!!! Love the east coast!, great idea on the shot glass holder but…. It stayed where it laid. Merry Christmas and happy new year !
Killer Saves! Incredible
Love the trains too
Merry Christmas Matt & Paul
Thanks Tom, Merry Christmas!
Great hunt Matt love the coins and cross. Nice porcelain top
Thanks guys!!
Hello from the old man that hasn’t got his wife anything for Christmas yet. Great video. I could get her some of those boots. Size 12 so she would have plenty of space for socks. Stay safe say hello to your family for me and Merry Christmas. 🎄🎁
Good morning Steve, I’m with ya, maybe my wife would like a pair also, lol, we better get on the ball!!, hmmm, maybe she would like a pair of antlers, lol. Merry Christmas!!
The red plastic piece is from the cootie game. I used to play that at my friends back in the 60s. Great hunt. Merry Christmas
Incredible. I just looked it up, thanks Shari!
Merry Christmas
@@underthesurface4435 - I was just going to reply the exact same thing!!!!!! I haven't thought of those things in 55 years!!!!! I use to spend hours snapping the legs and antennas and stuff on and off. Great memories!!!!!
Happy Holidays!!! Look forward to another year of your treasures
Thanks Claire , Happy Holidays
Great video as usual. Congrats at being so close to 5K subs! All the best, John.
Thanks so much John.
Wishing you and your family A Very Merry Christmas! 🎅🏻🇨🇦
You too Terri!!!!! 🎄
Merry Christmas🎄🙏☃️🔔🎁🙂
Merry Christmas!!
Good morning Matt, nice boots! Nice finds on the coins and of course the very old cross. It’s not a Celtic cross doesn’t have circle in middle. The ends look like Celtic . My guess from Ireland. Woman’s intuition.😊 Train set was cool. We have another storm coming Sunday Dec. 17. Good luck to be found after that one. My best to all the family. Joyce❤️🙏🇺🇸
Hi Joyce!!, yes I see the Celtic influence, love women’s intuition….bring on the Storms!! , be well Joyce.
Happy Holidays to You and Yours! The red toy was a type of whistle/flute, (bought for a penny or two?) The metal thing embedded in the rock clump, looked like an overflow valve, or something of the sort. Congrats on the antique items. The coin with the 1830 date is just six years shy of 200 years. Wow! Enjoy the time with your loved ones. Nance, the Nor Cali Gal.
Happy Holidays Nance!, great info much appreciated, , be well my friend.
Congratulations on 5k subscribers 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻very nice finds. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year 🤶🎁🎄
Thanks Susan!!!! and Merry Christmas!!
Helllooo from Iooowwwaaa, sorry I’m late, got kids wrestling today, you can understand. Great finds, love old coins. Glad you got a marble. Have a great week before Christmas 🤗🤗🎄🎄
Yoooo iooowaaa, yes!!! WRESTLING!!, I was an ankle picking magician in that sport!, lol, miss those days, enjoy!!
Great video good haul , I wish you and your family and merry Christmas and happy New Year
Thanks Douglass and Merry Christmas!
Good morning. Have a Merry Christmas
Good morning Nilsa, Merry Christmas!
The red plastic thing is a cutie bug. Legs would fit into both sides of the body. There would be a head and antenna. We had simple toys in the 50's.😊
Lol, wish I had found the rest of it, looks like my kind of game. Thanks Madeline.
Seeing the train was fun. My father was an engineer on the C&O.
How cool is that!!! Thanks for watching.
Good boots, safe trips and may the mud be with you. MB.
Lol….. and with you.
The red plastic piece you found is the abdomen from a 1970's toy bug (cootie) game, where you roll the dice and put the 6 legs, head and feelers all together to win.
Aaaaaah, no way!, that’s incredible, thanks for the help identifying that!
@@underthesurface4435 Glad I could help. I enjoy watching your videos and seeing the awesome finds.
I also recognized it. I really loved that game..Woderful video this time, and every time.@@underthesurface4435
👍
Pozdrawiam serdecznie 🇵🇱
dzięki, przyjacielu
Love that Cross!✝️
Thanks Tom!
Good morning Matt! Wonderful finds this week. "And , who are you?" sums up the beginning to all the "who, what, where and when" with all your finds from Under the Surface. Finding the milk bottle by the ship wreck was awesome for sure but then never a week goes by without a stunning marble find!! Your Lionel train set is amazing and brought back special memories of the set my dad assembled for us kids each Christmas. It was an amazing production from start to finish as we couldn't wait to be the first to hit the start button! stay well and warm out there! ~Karin
Thanks Karin!!, this train set is the one we all watched my dad set up as kids, just fantastic memories.
Great finds and so close to 5k subscribers, well deserved. Wishing you and all your family a blessed Christmas and New Year too, please pass this on to your family, take care and thank you for sharing 👏🙏❤️🥂
Hi Chris!, Thanks so much and yes just about to hit the 5k!!!, woohooooo! Merry Christmas!
Thanks Matt! A peek at your dad's artwork, yeah! Love the trains. Nice boots! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Kristin!!
Think that your antler find is actually a piece of the underside of a sea turtle carapace. Neat find though.
Whoaaaa!!, that’s interesting!, going to look that up right now, thanks!!!
Cap bust and a seated congratulations
Thanks Mandy!, yes 2 bucket listers
Keep a flashlight with you and shine it on your coins from the side. The shadows will help you identify your coins faster.
Yes, it works very well!! Thanks
your videos are really well done. New sub, will be watching and liking!
Thanks so much!!!
The wood thing reminds me of a pool cue holder or croquet mallet holder maybe?
That could be it , thanks Juney.
The red thing is the body of a cootie. You're too young to remember the Cootie game. I don't actually remember a lot about it either, but I think you played to get yellow legs in the holes on the body. Happy holidays to you and yours!
Aaaah interesting, sounds fun! Happy Holidays!!
The red thing u found is the body of a cootie bug. A game from the 60's
That’s hysterical!, funny looking game, thanks!
That red piece was a Cuddie toy
Yes!!!, thanks!
Cootie game. You build a cootie by adding pieces to the body piece.
So funny, thanks Sheryl!
That wooden thing with holes could it be base of a pool cue holder?
It sure could be!! Thanks
That one thing you picked up was medical vial used to give shots I would say late 1890's
Wow!, very cool thanks Regina.
Just wanted to make sure which item I was referring to. To me it looked like glass and when you turned it up it looked like the plunger was still in side it. I didn't know if you kept it
@@reginamathews2001 yep I know exactly the piece, didn’t keep it but your right.
Is that red plastic thing part of a cootie bug toy?
Absolutely!
25:04 what is that rod? I’ve found a couple of those where I make my rounds, but don’t know how to search for it.
I believe (now I could be wrong), they are insulator rods possibly for wiring, probably porcelain…..
happy holidays from Texas. red cootie. looks like carb butterfly in the concretion. and. that hex piece looks very much like a space X starship heat tile. are you sure it was wood? if it is what it sure looks like it might fetch 1000 bucks. my friend Ronhardrock (utube) searches texas beaches and has made a handsome account for himself with those things alone.
Happy holidays and fantastic info, thanks! Space X heat tile…. Oh my…. Going to check out your friends channel and see if I can confirm. Thanks so much my friend!
Plate .not from Bradford exchange.
Right!
Merry Christmas early...best to the family..
@johnantonacci3027 Merry Christmas John !!!and to your family also
