Love the seals, and the marble. Your videos are so refreshing to watch. ❤❤❤
Thanks Jane!
Good morning Matt! What a great way to round out the year of treasure hunting Under the Surface with a family outing! You were rewarded with the group of seals waiting your arrival!! They displayed a reminder of how fragile our natural environment is. I’m sure they were delighted in your actions of documenting the area’s history as well as removing pure trash! Stay well and warm out there! Wonderful seeing one of Dad’s masterpieces! ~ Karin
Thank you Karin, all the best to you in the new year.
You have done well grasshopper 2023 was amazing. I am looking forward to 2024. I remember seeing those little Coke bottles as a boy. Stay safe and Happy New Year to everyone.
Aaah thank you my sensei. All the best to you in the New Year Steve.
Good morning Matt, here we are the last hunt of 2023 for Under The Surface. Nice to see your family and a family of seals there to greet you. Interesting things scattered about for sure. Wishing you and everyone a Happy, blessed New Year in 2024. Joyce ❤️🙏🇺🇸
Thanks Joyce!!!, best of health to you in the New Year!
Hello from your neighbor in Delaware! Nice video this week. You can't NOT find little treasures while on your excursions. This has been a fantastic year watching you and your brother out on adventures. Can't wait to see the year-end results of the ring & coin counts between you and Paul . Cheers to you and your families for the coming New Year! May God bless you with both health, wealth, and prosperity! 🎉
Thanks so much my Delawarian Neighbor! It was a great year! Thanks for chillin with us!
Great week long lark Matt! You found many different things this time. The one beach I couldn’t believe all of the wood that was everywhere. The silver ring was a beauty. I hope you and your family enjoyed your New Year 😊 stay safe and healthy always ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thanks Susan!!
Happy New Year tomorrow Matt. Thanks for always letting me tag along. 🇨🇦
Thanks for tagging along!!! Happy New Year!!
Love the coke bottle, the ring and the 'cobra' hood. The marble is beautiful. The black button is made out of glass and was used for mourning. Happy New Year to you and yours. The final pic is gorgeous. Good job to you dad.
Thanks Shari and great info! Happy New Year!
Hi matt thanks for your videos I like to see my family wish you and your family a great happy new year to come god bless all of you amén Sonia
Your very welcome Sonia, all the best to you in the New Year.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas. Absolutely love the jet black mourning button, mini 50’s coke bottle, the horse (amazing) and the silver ring with what look like peridot stones (totally jealous!). And I have to say I laughed out loud at your comment on the insulator… we were all thinking it! 😂 Have a Happy New Year! I hope your dad and family are all doing well. All the best in 2024.
Sure did! Thanks my friend and thanks for appreciating the subtle humor, lol
Hi Matt, I always wish your video's wouldn't end, they are so enjoyable Thanks and Happy New Year...Cindy ...Toms wife
Hi Cindy!, thanks so much that’s very nice of you to say so. Be well in the new year!
Good finds and great finds for the year.Happy New Year to you and all your family 🙏❤️🥳🥂
Thanks Chris , you too!
Interesting finds. The coke charm is fantastic. Thanks for the great year of videos. Happy New year and take care.
Thanks so much and best of health to you in the new year!
Hi Matt, Happy 2024 (tomorrow) to you too. I love seeing what you’ve fossicked out of the goop. You seem to get to so many places. That storm erosion of the beach must be of great concern to the councils over there, and to the home owners nearby too.
Those strange wooden and metallic items at the beginning of you video looked like ballistrading from some kind of large watercraft, maybe a paddle wheel steamer or the like. I notice when you take the family out your eyes drop straight to the ground. Once a fossicker, always a fossicker! But, I’d be doing it too if I had the chance to as well. I’m glad you love it so much, and you clean up the beach as you go, which is such a giving thing to do. That second ring you found had peridots in it. That was a very nice find. I try to imagine the person who lost it all those years ago and how upset they would have been, poor loves! But, I always maintain….don’t wear anything valuable to the beach, for obvious reasons. Their loss is your gain. Thanks for sharing your little adventures with us❤️🦘🇦🇺
Wonderfully written, wonderfully said. Thanks so much Yvonne. Best of health to you in 2024!!!
Happy New Year!! Love watching your videos. Some very interesting finds.

Yes, the “Jet Glass” mourning buttons….worn in the Victorian times! Beautiful find. They can be quite valuable if in mint condition….GL and HH🙏🏼🍀👋🏼🇨🇦
Happy New Year! Wonderful video! I did notice @ 19:44 right next to your thumb is a seal you can see it is bent together. I thought it was 2 pennies at first.

Japanese porcelain with Tori gate. Bottle in top of embankment by Coke bottle. Button may be Jette, a black plastic developed in Europe in Victorian times.😊
Great info Madeline!, thanks so much.

Greetings Az! Happy New Year!, lol, I sure did!!! You dropped it in a creek back here in Nj, lol.
Its the bottom of a bushel basket, like for crabs.
That would make sense!
Wszystkiego najlepszego w Nowym Roku 🥂🇵🇱
szczęśliwego Nowego Roku mój przyjacielu!
Hilarious like your towel
Those new boots working well?
It was a nice towel, he he he.
They are!!
Are you going to put out a new years day short on first find?
@@johnantonacci3027 very possible!
You need to get your dad down to that old dock near the 1941 church to paint the wood sticking out of the water and its reflections.
Aaah, great idea!
Great video
Thanks so much!
Matt, Copper stingray with long curled tail and a trident on its back. the two dots are eyes.
Interesting!!! Thanks Mary!
Candleholder
Nice!!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
The copper coil with a snake head I think (not sure) but it could possibly be of Hindu origin
Agreed
Happy new year
Happy New Year 🎆🎊
The copper wire u found i believe it's a cobra design. 🐍
Yes absolutely!
I’m from Pittsburgh! Was it a Heinz ketchup bottle maybe?
That could very well be .
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I have a question. What are those bag seals for and to what? That interesting copper design looked like a cobra. Cool marble find, a armor horse, faceted button, Coke bottle. Some pretty cool finds. Happy new year to you and family. 🎆🎇🎊🎉
Sure did Sally!, great question… to my understanding they had many uses , one of which (more common ) was to be placed on shipping bags for identification , so they were lost quite often . I do believe they are usually quite old . Happy New Year!
I'm not sure if yours is this but, I've seen coca cola key chains at antique stores similar to that.😊
That’s exactly what it is, thanks!
That was a ship cannon.
Hmmmmmm, really?, I’m bringing that thing home then!
I think it looks like one too. The breachloader is missing. Looks like a ship wreck.
Its a cobra snake head
Yes! Thanks Catherine.
Great video….!👏🏼 One question; Where are you located? It feels like the Maine or New England area? Anyways just curious….New Sub here!🙋🏻♀️ Happy New Year to you and your family…🙏🏼⭐️🍾👋🏼🇨🇦P.S. I hope you figured out that the piece of copper resembles a Cobra, right?😂👋🏼
Thanks!, Central coastal New Jersey, and yes 🐍 lol.
@@underthesurface4435 Thanks for your prompt reply! Just finished watching your last video and the insulator at the end was a great find as well! God Bless and Happy Hunting in 2024🙏🏼🍀👋🏼🇨🇦
@@McChrister thanks so much!
Was your copper find a Cobras snake
It sure was, possibly a religious offering into the bay waters.
