One of the greatest Cars and one of the biggest commercial failures. Pretty much the story of Alfa Romeo right there. Great car and great job Patrick. Presented perfectly 👊
That's a very generous donation, indeed! It's great to hear that such a beautiful piece of history will remain in one of the world's greatest museums for everyone to see. As an Alfa historian myself, I wouldn't go as far as calling the TZ a commercial failure, because Alfa never really put much effort into marketing these cars at all. They had to build at least 100 to homologate it in the under-1600cc GT class, and once that was achieved, any more they sold on top of that really was a bonus.
Most of Zagato's modern versions of Aston Martin's are gaudy and ridiculous, they still make the odd beautiful creation but the balance seems to have flipped from the odd ugly duckling vintage Zagato creation to the odd beautiful modern one!
Love the Alfa's! Please show more of them!

A truly stunning racecar. Thanks for showing off this rare Alfa!
good video about this alfa tz1 from 1964.
Awesome job Patrick, love what your doing, keep it up ❤❤❤🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I love this Pit-Stop formula, keep it on !
Very good video but It's TZ not TZ1.
What would it have cost him to open the hood and show us the engine? While he is at it start up the car.
😍Nice!!! 👍
le auto italiane hanno un sapore unico
Zagato made it look iconic, and he doesn't even mention them?
Has the paintwork been keyed, or is it the lighting?
it was always the tz2 to me
Built by Autodelta in Udine Italy
Why the terrible music?
Italians make their cars look like their women: beautiful, slinky, and with a lotta nose!

👎Weak docent. Video should be more than several Calendar photos. Did a curator not provide background details ??
