I cannot stop watching this orchestral performance. I honestly believe I would literally scream if I saw this choir in person!! From the Orchestra to the orchestrator to the choir are absolutely amazing!!! I’ve NEVER heard anything so melodious.
I could know that I’m going to die one day and cease to exist in any sort of after life, but after listening to this beautiful song and this rendition, I couldn’t care less. This music is utterly stunning. It touches the soul in a magical way. When I listen to it, I imagine a world where humanity has triumphed, united and learnt from past mistakes. We are so much more than we realise. We are beautiful. This Earth is our home and it would do us good to protect it and each other. I pray all the time quietly before bed, in odd random moments and at the wake of dawn that the world might one day be a better place for my children. I carry so my sadness and anxiety in my heart. I wish the world were a better place where people were treated fairly and lived in harmony. As John Lennon said, just imagine...
I saw the new movie, and was SO happy to hear the cover by Lebo M, during the end credits. And yes, I got up and danced to it. Thanks to a Senegalese friend, and other classes, I got into it....it's a joyful AMAZING song!!! I love Alex Boye...I really do.
