This is done very well. I grew up in the islands, and somehow we get used to so many things that we desire other things and seek happiness somewhere else beside where we are. I know the grass is not always greener on the other side, but happiness is fleeting if don't find it in us and where we are first. Happiness, peace and joy is contagious if it begins with me I think, thanks for sharing.

Moana was the theme that was picked for my girl's camp this year. It was sadly canceled due to the pandemic and I had stumbled upon this song when listening to other songs from the tabernacle choir and everything about this song had a different meaning to me now...especially when he said "You are your Father's Daughter" and when he sang about the voice inside ( at 2:32). I loved this soo much!!!
This is spectacular in that wherever I find myself, I must create happiness for myself and for those who are around me. The gospel of Jesus Christ is true
This made me uncontrollably sob. As a person descended from my island ancestors and born in its culture that had been corrupted and muddled with outside influences for decades, it's hard to see just what truly is a Chamorro (my island and I's ethnicity). We lost our culture, our homes, our land, our traditions, our customs, and we are losing our language. We suffered and we continue to suffer. Watching this performance made me desperately miss my heritage which I truly believe I haven't experienced due to reasons listed above. I guess I cried because I see how rich and prominent Moana's culture is. I feel joy to see how my culture was decades ago but it quickly turns into sorrow as I see it continue to drain of its colors and fade.
I hope we can save every dying language on this planet, including yours. My hopes are with you and every other Chamorro on Earth. I say all of this as a sympathetic individual, whose heart breaks with every wrong done by human beings, to human beings.
