I've been listening to ska since 1994 and somehow this is the first time I'm discovering this fantastically soulful band. What's up, Pietasters of the Midwest?
Just saw these guys at Ska is Dead in Grand Rapids. They were awesome live. They didn't play some of their slower reggae stuff but they really got the crowd going. The lead singer, Todd, has shaved his beard and now has a really sweet mustache.
Fucking love you guys. I loved seeing y'all and meeting you guys. Hard to believe it was over a decade ago and I'm still blaring this song and belting it out.
Damn such an under rated band by the masses! They did there version of Antennas justice If all they did was this one song they deserve a seat at the table🤙🏼
they're so 2-tone, it's awesome! but comeon, mustard plug is pretty sweet, you cant compare 2nd wave to third wave. oh yeah, and he's got a briggs hoodie. that's awesome :P
@jucygrl Hope the warped tour show was good, they played in my small town for a 200 person show about 2 years ago and it was one of the better shows I have been to.
yo, i dont think the bands would want to see thier fans aguing about whose the best. they are all friends and thier all sooooo fuuking gooood. im not a fan of less than jake but the dudes at ska is dead all are good.
This ska shares a similar sound with 1st wave. To compare it to 3rd wave ska-PUNK like Mustard Plug or Less than Jake can't be done. They're different types of music. Nevertheless, I enjoy them both.
These guys deserve $1 million each for bringing this song into the world.

Wow is thee real Matt Phillips?

How are these guy and Aggrolites not touring together?
I like it :D
The one playing the Saxaphone is my Cousin Andy
Its got a bit of the pietasters sound to it. Its enjoyable.
I was at the Cleveland show too! Saw the giant penis, but I was most impressed with DGB's version of Otis Redding's tune!
yo, i dont think the bands would want to see thier fans aguing about whose the best. they are all friends and thier all sooooo fuuking gooood. im not a fan of less than jake but the dudes at ska is dead all are good.
I thought these guys were cool, then I saw that the singer is wearing a Briggs hoodie... Now, I KNOW they are cool!

Oh well thats where I saw tehm Ill admit some of their songs sounded good but they didnt fit in with all the other bands.
This is cultural appropriation and should be called out... just kidding .
Nobody cares...
