One of my favorite songs from The Bosstones, but most definitely my favorite track from their album, Don't Know How To Party. Had it not been for The Bosstones, and hearing them for the first time, back in the early part of the '90s, I'm not so sure if I would have ever gotten into Ska, at all, which would have been a d**n shame, because I would have, more than likely, not even have paid much attention to that ska/punk boom we had, back in the mid '90s to the earlier '00s, and I would have missed out on so many great bands back then, and never have gotten to see several of them live, either. Really, really miss The Bosstones. H**l, I really, really miss that time back then, too. Completely insane when I realize that this song, and Don't Know How to Party, are over 30 years old now. Where has the f**king time gone to, man??? Kinda depressing, to be honest with you. Lol. 😢
I remember seeing Mighty mighty the first time, they were opener for Stone Tempel Pilots or Alice in chains, can't be arsed to remember which band, . I was blown away with the band, the music and the energy of the show, and I have been a fan since. It is surely one of the best live acts I have seen.
One of my all time fave bands. Saw them live on the Back in Plaid tour. Dicky Barrett gutteral singing is the best! He climbed the rafters and French kissed some random dude: This is how I discovered them, and how I’ll always remember them. Not the clean polished version they are now
ikr. came back to this song, and the melody and music video bleed such an innocent freedom, that 90s carefree attitude. better jump back into the ska scene, i really need that optimism.

The more I sort it out
The more it gets distorted
I sort of think I'm better off just leaving it unsorted
The more I try to change its course
The more off course it goes
Of course I'll reach my destination someday I suppose
Sort it out
The more I sort it out
The more it gets distorted
I sort of think I'm better off just leaving it unsorted
The more I try to change its course
The more off course it goes
Of course I'll reach my destination (someday I suppose)
Your name it's cool, love your face, thanks for the lyrics, Sorry ir my comment don't like u
Well done. Very few people know all the lyrics correctly.
the brass section riff might be the best ever.and the song simply kicks ass.
96 or 97 in Upstate NY @ Sienna College. Mighty Might Bosstones, Dropkick Murphys and Amazing Royal Crowns college tour. Great times...!!!
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are underrated. They have some of the most iconic riffs and melodies.
Loved it when I heard it the first time, love it today. Time flies.
Lol. 😢
A time when MTV was everything. Miss those days it was a lot happier.
...Dat Bass Line tho. ...Dude is KILLIN' it on that one!!👍👍👍
I grew up in the 90's and even though I prefer 60's or 70's music, listening to these guys reminds me how much I really did like and miss the 90's
Not the clean polished version they are now
He did?! Was this back in the early 90s? God I love him.
Why the fuck was he kissing some dude?
My dad loved this he passed April 2020 and this reminds me of him! Thank you
I'm truly sorry for your loss
I’m so sorry for your loss. May his memory be a blessing.
I miss the idea of having promise for the future. This song takes me back to then.
ikr. came back to this song, and the melody and music video bleed such an innocent freedom, that 90s carefree attitude. better jump back into the ska scene, i really need that optimism.
I wish I listened to these guys more back in the 90’s. Amazing band
This is great hearing these instruments all together, just flow and sound damn good🤘
It's kind of amazing that these guys got as popular as they did. Just a bunch of Hooligans playing music that they enjoyed.
90S so amazing
I love the general SWAG that these guys have. It's just so amazing.
We got swag in boston
True.
my 1 and half year old was clapping and going crazy! such a great great song! well done, fellas! thank you!
I'm allowed to comment yo!. I love SKA. Changed my life.
I love this band. So many good songs. This just might be their best yet.
Who's still listening to this in 2021? Clueless movie was great and it brought me to love this song.
Me! Have you heard their new album that they released in May?
@@TsukasaElkKite no i haven't. I will have to give it a listen, thank you for that.
@@sethgreen2797 You're welcome! The album is called When God Was Great. And no, they didn't switch genres.
@@TsukasaElkKite good to hear they kepted with their sound all these years. In my opinion a lot change their sound and fade away but they keep their head up and keep trucking lol
@@sethgreen2797 Exactly! Their sound may have changed but their message of kindness and acceptance hasn't.
