They are used in the Finnish archipelage and those guys, of course, they also like to brag and they take part in the occasional friendly race too. i think they look very similar in Sweden and Estonia too. PS: A big engine was an advantage too in the good old days of liquor smuggling.

Hull speed it used for displacement hulls and has no bearing on a planing hull .
