Great video mate, just incase anyone goes to try doing the steering wheel trim them selves, disconnect the battery first for a good while before you mess with the airbag.
That all looks really really nice! What I love about companies like this, is they'll tell you how to do it yourself... Which just makes me trust them more and want them to do it for me... Knowing that they know what they're doing! Great upgrades!
Think you should have gone with the Remus system. The oval tips would fill that rear diffuser much better as they're slightly bigger than the quick silver tips.
Very nice! Maybe around the bottom of the gear shifter should go next, of course plenty you could do but think that will just tie it all in very nicely.
Looks like a fairly large gap along the top and sides of that diffuser? Unless its just the lighting of course. Hows the fitment compared to the oem one?
Looks minted mate. Your next mod should be a alcantara steering wheel. Got mine from Royal steering wheels about a month ago now and it totally changed the interior. Future mod for sure. Great video 😀
After the horror show of your insurance premium how have these modifications impacted it ? I had issues getting my modified M235i covered as once you go past a couple of mods , insurance companies get a little tetchy
Why is he taking of the air bag to fit the trim you don’t even need to touch the air bag & you don’t even need to remove the factory defuser the aftermarket one fits straight over the top of it,but taking of that air bag did it for me 😂
Making it look like he is doing something and you dont even need to remove the bits he removed from steering wheel the bit unclips nicely from the wheel took me 5 seconds to take the trim of NO AIRBAG REMOVED nothing lol 😂😂😂
What do you think?
Looks 100x better with that rear diffuser 🤙
I totally agree 😉
Looks epic! 😎
Should have gotten the ugly plastic around the silver on the steering wheel done in carbon and left the silver
Looks mega, how the fitment round the sides?
Great video mate, just incase anyone goes to try doing the steering wheel trim them selves, disconnect the battery first for a good while before you mess with the airbag.
Cheers mate, thanks for that
AutoID makes fantastic parts! Thanks for the video! I didn't know they existed until now. Going to order some stuff for my M240i!
Diffuser is perfect!! Looks like an m sport rear diffuser from the factory. Exactly what I'd want on my m240i. (When I get one)
That all looks really really nice!

Yeah AUTOID are top notch. Will definitely be using them in future. So accommodating with the filming too

I just bought a 2012 M135i 4 days ago in blue, I love it 😍
Congratulations

That diffuser is peng. Massive fan of the carbon fibre look.
Thanks so much mate
Has this been lowered ? Coilover or springs ?
Looks really good bud!!!!
Thanks Ben mate
Wonderfull car Joel, love it,
im trying to find 2 exhaust tips, yours are top, could you tell me where to buy it?
thanks mate! 😉
What mpg have M240i on normal driving in city (eco driving ) ???
Magic Carbon
Sides next looking a bit left out. Under sill extenders maybe?
Yeah I agree. Skirts are definitely needed
What’s the cost, and where could I order these in the US, Chicago area, if you know?
Nice video. Love that deffuser. I know you sold the car but. Do you have any idea what wheels they are? I love them.
Hey Andi, the wheels are Bola B11s in Matte Bronze - size is 19”
Are they legal in germany?
Would love you to do a video around you selling the M240i when you do 👍🏻
Might be sooner than you think 😅
Looks like a fairly large gap along the top and sides of that diffuser? Unless its just the lighting of course. Hows the fitment compared to the oem one?
Don’t think the fitment is 100%. But it’s negligible and miles ahead of anything else I’ve ever seen
Hey Joel, how did your rear diffuser stand up? Is it still ok? Or did it discolor overtime? Looking at autoid rear diffuser
Was the fitment of the rear diffuser OK?
I'd like to see the back side of that carbon, I work in motorsport and it looks suspect to me.
Can’t help but think how nice the cinematics are in this mate, what camera are you filming on?
Thanks buddy, appreciate that. I film on a GH4
@@itsjoel thank you for the fast reply mate 🙏🏼 that’s awesome
@@AutoBay no problem buddy; thanks for watching

I actually really like the leather on my wheel. My Z4 on the other hand, well I want to get that done in alcantara for sure
Looks way nicer mate
Is different design to mine isn’t it ?
I’m gonna get that interior carbon so they have that dash bit and door handles ?
Yeah it’s great mate, so good. They do all sorts!
Looks the part mate!
Why not the gear surround?
That needs doing next I think to complete that section

The majority of mainstream insurers won’t cover modified cars other than very basic changes.
You end up going to specialist insurance companies.
@@GadgetMart Indeed , I have owned modified cars for the last 15 years, but I have no issues with insurance as Im no youngster
@@richierich9761 Insurance companies don’t mind?
Muuuuuuch better lad
Very nice. Excellent choice for diffuser. I'm excited for you as you make your M240i your own. Now to add some spice to your engine parts. Cheers!
Thanks so much buddy!
🔥🔥
Not a fan of CF on the selector. Pretty ugly IMO. But well done on the diffuser looks great.

Why go to Autoid ?!
Best in the business
