I personally think the skinny jeans do look fine. I think for your petite size the waist is actually i little bit too high. I really don't care if I am on date. fashion is a scam. In skinny jeans eith elastane I can use my bike without any problems. There are actually a lot of people who still buy them. In Winter it looks awfull when you wear wide legged jeans with a coat. Skinny jeans with a boot and a coat always looks classy.
Totally agree, skinny jeans will never go out of style in my book, I have only a few, I wear them with low converse & in winter I'll wear with boots/flattering top & my thicker coats, I love boot cut jeans & straight, the wide jean trend/barrel jeans, is just not for me, but I do love all the looks on her.

Thank you so much for addressing hem length! See so many images where the hem is so long they are actually walking on their pants. Especially with the wide leg pants.
I am so disappointed skinny jeans are out and did finally replace with straight. I’m thin and 5’5” and absolutely swallowed up and look ridiculous in loose jeans. I still wear my skinny jeans sometimes cuffed or with boots over because they make my butt look amazing.
Have you tried the Levis Ribcage or the Tomcat from mother denim? They are good alternatives to skinny jeans. If you really like it wear them, style is subjective. Skinny jeans might be making a comeback soon, you never know 😊
Wear what works for your body frame don't go by "trends" not all trends suits all body types. Wear what makes you most confident. I have skinny jeans and I rock them I don't care because trends recycle. I look childish with wide leg jeans and sneakers because I'm 5ft.. the look hides my curves.
I am 5 feet and 102 pounds, and I still wear skinny jeans. I bought slim straight but have not worn them yet. I still feel like they are not as comfy and as stylish on me as skinny. I was also swallowed up in mnay of the new styles.
@@Jamie-em2jpsame,we wear what looks great on us,not what is on style with the risk of looking bad!I seen many overweight women wearing crop tops justt to be in trend while looks horrible on them!
Great video! I believe skinny jeans can still work with certain shoes such as higher shafts. While skinny jeans or lighterwash may be outdated, fashion is cyclical and if it works for your body, then it's not fashionable, it's stylish :) Thank you for explaining the inseam!!
Is important the type is shoes you are wearing that sneakers make you foot look bulky if you wear it with wide leg jeans try some pointy boots with low heel or a Mary Jane type of shoes
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *luxdups* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability

What happens when you already have long legs and a short waist. I never see this addressed in fashion videos. For me, 9'11" rise in jeans comes up way too high.
You could try using a soft tuck on your shirt making sure you are covering your waistline to elongate your torso. Alternatively you could also opt for straight mid-rise / low-rise jeans with low inseam. However other factors may impact this based on waistline, bust size, if you prefer the look of longer legs over lengthening your torso and personal preference. Let me know if you have other questions ❣
Hi 😊! You could try straight jeans with more room on hips and thighs. The Petite Curvy Perfect Vintage Jean from Madewell also has petite sizing with 26 1/2" inseam. Hope this helps! ❤
Hope you enjoyed these tips! Let me know what you want to see next from me! 😃
The wide leg jeans you dont like actually look great on you. They give you such along leg look.

I love wide leg jeans. I also like variety
I am pear shaped 5'4 and wide leg jeans look great on me ( better than straight)
I don't think tha wide legs are unflattering in petites.
No me neither. It's a look and its m9dern. It helps to choose flow fabrics,

Hey 👋 What inseam would you recommend for 4'10 girlie
Around 24 or 25 inches. Try to measure from the base of your zipper to the bottom of your leg to get an accurate measurement :)

one thing i like about wearing wideleg pants and oversize shirt is i can hide my figure/shape. sorry, but i don't like to accentuate them.
I have height of 5 inch and thick thigh which jeans is suits to me

Actually your legs looks longer on the left, I would just hem them a little.
The jeans are too high rise. It looks like you have a long crotch area, not like you have long legs.
Ur opinion is not correct
Didn't age well...skinny jeans are "back"....
Those straight jeans are boring. Sorry. There's more to consider than whether a garment is figure flattering.
