What I love about this is that dude let out a lot of fantastic political jokes, without obviously taking either side. Kind of a punching at both sides deal. This whole special is awesome. I hope to see more from this guy. His whole demeanor is great

Brandon Vestal in Dry Bar Comedy is among one of the most underrated 'clean' comedians of all time. Besides K-Von, Orlando Baxter,Mary Mack, and others that I can't name right now,Mr. Vestal is severely underrated.
His extremely quick-witted somewhat,outlandishly,funny jokes had gotten me every time.
California's a wild state.
So are other states which I'm not going to name here.
But he's better than just good.
Not every comedian on Dry Bar can have that kind of talent,that he had. Or had.
I'm apolitical,so,to me,this type of comedy suits me quite well.
It's not easy going up there,in front of an audience,express your talent,and just use your funny bone philosophy.
And see how much talent each and every comedian does have..

@@williamtatum2588 The point was about contraception. Make sure it's widely available and you'll prevent a bunch of teenage pregnancies and other unwanted kids.
Doesn't mean those people wont have kids, just that they're more likely to have kids when they're ready and able to take care of them.
That way they'll be more likely to succeed in life and less likely to end up criminals. It's also less likely to end the parent's education and career.
And that will more than cover the cost of a few contraceptive pills and condoms in the long run.
Also, I wouldn't feel any guilt whatsoever about killing a fetus. Intelligence and emotions is what makes a human life important and that thing doesn't have that.
I'd consider it morally worse to slaughter a cow (but not enough to be a vegetarian)
@@SirConto Hey, I am sure we have both heard both sides of the argument. I don't agree with your thoughts on a fetus being not alive. We have six wonderful kids. Never once did we consider them not alive based on their location.
I believe education and abstaining is best. Always have. I have four daughters. Will they ever stumble and fall? of course, but they know they always have a soft landing spot with us if they get pregnant. A child entering the world isn't as rough as you think. Inconvenience is never a reason to kill. Neither is embarrassment. Children are a blessing not a burden.
I am not angry at you. Just trying to help you see another side. Prolife has been given a bad rap. We are accused of only caring about children in the womb and don't care once they are born. That simply is not true. We and many we know are foster parents and adopt children. Our church operates a home for women that are in rough times. Prolife folks care about women very much, just like proabortion folks. We just also care about the girls and boys in the womb too.
I hope that makes sense.

Spirit is the worst airline. Never fly with them. I had no choice because they were the only airline that flew to an airport I needed to get to with no connections.

This entire set was fantastic! Making jokes about a local issue like the Provo traffic lights (totally accurate, by the way) was brilliant.
The best single proof of the great set is that he spent 5 minutes talking about tequila, to a group of people who (mostly) don't drink, and had them cackling the whole time!
And I really love it when comedians refer back to their own jokes from earlier in the show. It makes the jokes even funnier, and makes the audience feel like they are "in on the joke". It's like when a group of best friends all know the same joke and laugh as soon as someone even looks like they are going to refer to the joke.

Was a Republican until 2016 (independent now). I went to an election watch party in San Francisco in 2012- it was like we were hiding. We met at night in a private room at a dark steak house whose front door opened in an alley.
Dry Bar is awesome. This guy is so very funny and his delivery and facial expressions are hilarious. One of my favorites!!

This guy is funny, he does dry humor really well. Best line for me was, " everyone was told they should express themselves growing up ... we're about 10 years into social media now ... whadda ya think?" Just perfect. Sporadic, small-scale incidents in a small fraction of grassroots protests around the country, is NOT anywhere equivalent to a direct attack on the U.S. Capitol itself that was actively cultivated, spurred on, and directly assisted by a losing neo-fascist leader and those who backed him.
Best act I've seen in YEARS. An actual standup routine with all the trimmings. His callbacks were multiple and punctual. He has the classic style. Glad I clicked.

Evidently he hasn't seen the blooper reel from "Real Steel" with Hugh Jackman, (who also plays Wolverine). In one scene he's supposed to rip open a sack and has a lot of trouble getting it done. He finally breaks character and shouts, "Wolverine, where are you?" I cracked up.
Funny guy and the way he sways back and forth throughout his set is almost hypnotic.
