I've always struggled with crappy headlight adjusters on many cars that I've owned. I get the beam adjusted as best I can, keeping the light beam aimed slightly low. I will adjust them to maximize the amount of illumination on the road surface without throwing light into on-coming traffic. I think auto manufacturer's like to save as much money as they can by specifying the cheapest, most difficult mechanical crap they can get away with for adjusting headlights. I was hoping you to demonstrate this on the Lambo !
Mario, I couldn't agree with you more about that one. There either isn't enough range or it doesn't work all quite that well. I didn't want to demonstrate this on the Lamborghini because thankfully they are aligned properly. You would be surprised by this but the adjusters I showed you on the Kia are the EXACT same as the ones on the Gallardo! Check out post 9 in the LT forums: www.lamborghini-talk.com/threads/headlamp-aim-on-gallardo.26478/ Everything is exactly the same as the Xeons in the Audi but different adjuster locations.
Dana, do you mean on the Audi? I need to do a full video on this car. The radiator is in the trunk and it has a full aerodynamic undertray with a functional splitter.
@@dana_3321 Unfortunately it is a B5 S4 bumper that has seen better days! I had a front mount intercooler years ago and it was cut up for that. When I went back to side mounts, I filled in the spot with plastic hex mesh like this. amzn.to/3ESZC1y
It's supposed to... but that's also what the notches where he shows the light is horizontal, goes up diagonally and the horizontal again. It's to keep the light out of the top left area, typically where an oncoming car would be.
Jacob, the two adjusters are actually very easy to find. I didnt adjust mine because they are perfectly aimed so not worth messing with a good thing! LOL Check out this forum post. Look at post #9 The adjuster locations are in the fenders! www.lamborghini-talk.com/threads/headlamp-aim-on-gallardo.26478/
Richard, as usual, very informative and great video. I'm curious, are you getting bored with the Lambro' yet? I think eventually you'll come over to the Ferrari side as you gain more experience with the supercar culture.
Haha very funny christschool but no! I was eyeing a 812 but for that $$ my heart if 1000% in a SV or SVJ! Ferrari is much more refined and elegant. The ostentatious overstatement in most Lamborghinis with the big wings is exactly my style.

Wow. You took this down to Brass tacks! Nice
Glad you liked this one Garrett!
For side to side adjustment, clockwise turn to move the headlamps to the right anf anticlockwise to the left?
Nice video. Very informative.
Right on Poorboy, glad you liked it.
I hope the adjusting screws are as easily accessible on my VW.
Do you have video how you make your bumper to look like that???

@@TheBullRider yes. On B5

@@TheBullRider oh, I was thinking that is A4 B5 modified bumber, but is s4.. Thank you
Should the driver side be aimed down a little more than the right for oncoming traffic?

How about the lambo’s headlights, do they have adjustment points easily accessible?, I haven’t look for them

So the 2 inches below the line of when your right up against the wall, equals 1 degree from 25ft away?
I have same audi, just tdi, I think that I aligned them good, but i dont have that clear line of light on low beam light, is that good or bad thing
My 05 audi giving me same issue, thank you so much
