    I just changed-out one of my dysfunctional headlamp adjustment motors on an old Audi A4 B6 and now one light goes up and one goes down! 🤪, yeah, like that, 😂. I tried every configuration and method of putting it right, even pulling the inners and manually rewinding the cogs on one to start the shafts at the same length - the car just converted them to opposite again the second I turned the key! 😫. I then realised it could only be a software adjust that’d fix this, and after searching for a whole day I’ve finally come across your video here! Thank you so much for sharing! You are a saviour! My head was bursting with this! 🤯. The only thing is: I’m in the UK, this is an MOT failure here, so the car isn’t road legal to take it to someone with VCDS software to fix! 🤨. It looks like I’m hunting for software today! Stay safe and well, and I hope you can have as good a Xmas as possible give all that’s going on in the world. All the best for 2021! 🍻

    I've just fitted bi xenons in my non bi xenon 2006 a3, changed the coding so it knows bi xenons are fitted so they don't flicker and the bulb out light has gone off the dash but when i go into 55 to do your procedure it just says no response from controller? Any ideas?

      If you can you can send me a video and show me what it is exactly doing since I don't own the vehicle anymore.

    I tried this but when entering basic settings channel 001 I can't hear the motors. Do I need to replace them?

    • @MACSDIY
      @MACSDIY  2 года назад

      I am not saying that your motors are shot but if you don't hear anything then most likely yes.

      @@MACSDIY they must be, I tried it again and this time and had my ear on one of the headlamp and had the basic setting running for around 1 minute and I could hear anything. Imma just buy 2 new for 15$ each. Thanks for the tutorial!

    Ciao, ho visto il video, vorrei capire quindi prima si fa il Group 1 e poi vanno regolati manualmente?
    E il gruppo 2 a cosa serve?
    Grazie

    • @MACSDIY
      @MACSDIY  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, first Group 1 and then manually. The car is smart, but you still have to do some manual labor. Unfortunately, this car doesn't have the capability to do it automatically like newer ones.

    Is it same for Audi A1 2012? Thanks

      I am not sure. Your best bet is to go on an Audi Forum and check that way. Sorry I couldn't be of any further assistance.

      That's a really good question. Unfortunately I do not own this car anymore but the only recommendation that I can give you is trying to start from the beginning of the video. You probably could have missed a step, not saying that you did but it could have been possible.

    • @MACSDIY

      I am not 100% but it should be just a push of the button on VAG COM/VCDS once you go under the correct settings. That's how my 2013 GTI was atleast.

      @@georgefernandes1767 once you go into VCDS there should be an option for adaption/relearn. I am not at home at the moment to give you all the information but I hope this will help a little bit.
